Hello, I'm using this phone and simply loving it but I got this little problem with messages. When I send a forward message to a group of people this error/message appears on screen after every 3, 4 seconds "Message Already In Use" untill the message sent to everyone. Help me with this guys!

Well after a few months using this phone i will say "Why did i go for a nokia again" i always promised myself that i would avoid nokias but when it came to having to get a new phone i ended up with this.
When the phone is good it is brilliant but when those annoying little things happen it makes you hate it like crazy. Self timer is a prime example on the camera, just try using it and try propping the phone up by itself,the awkward shape makes it worse to balance than anything.
The odd camera problem too with it freezing and also a slow to respond menu (even with the latest firmware)
I have no brand loyalty, i've used all makes of phones from Apple to Sagems and to be honest i wish i had gone for the Samsung Jet, yes i know there is less support for it but even now when i get to use one (thanks to my partner)it is the phone i wish i had.

You can change it by going to Menu > Setting > Connectivity > Admin. Settings > Packet Data > Packet Data Connection > When Needed
When it is set to 'When available' you get dotted lines. It shows there is packet data available.

rypien, 11 Feb 2010Hi Chai, How is the performance 5800 in malaysia, plan to purchase it and would like your comm... morehai,there, so far my 5800 which i purchased at July last year do not have any big problem.the hang problem rarely occur on my phone, it only happened once or twice. then, there are a lot of ppl talking about the screen turn into blur problem. i never experienced it too.the only problem on my phone is the corruption of songs or image in my memory cards. it owes happen. however, i believe it is caused by the memory card itself but not the phone. the problem can solved by changing a new memory card. i give 8.5/10 marks to this phone, it is awesome.i use it to watch movie during my boring class n use wifi to explore internet while i am free. u should buy it. but please, but the original 1 but not AP 1.i cant guarantee wat will happen on AP handset.that's all of my opinion for being a 5800's owner.

Hey everyone. I need help.
I have the latest ovi maps on my Nokia 5800 and I try to use Nokia map loader (version 3.0.28.0) on my computer and it says Updating Phone information',Retrieveing download catalogue for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic' and it then says 'Error while loading catalogue for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic'.
Why is this?

maps 3.03 takes lot of space heres how u can free 5mb...
after install take back up from file manager n then reset by*#7370#.... it freed my 6MB... WITHOUT REMOVING ANY MAPS
