Hi users, I wanna find out where is the "Call recording" option in 5800xm?. While on call I can see 4 buttons on screen - Mute/Unmute, Hold/unhold, Activate hansdet/handsfree, End call. In options(left meny) also "Record" is not found!!!. Please help.
Also, while typing the message on FullQuerty keypad, i am not seeing some symbols. (eg: "?" mark), how to see all symbols? (any Next page button on keypad?)

I have upgraded the software to V40. I have downloaded the software updates such as Maps & Ovi Contacts to my phone. Each time this downloads will be defaulted to my phone memory, resulted my phone memory exhausted & I cannot used others application as the memory is full. Can anyone let me know how to default this software updates to my memory card instead of to phone memory?

how can i down load skype on my tube ...tried using FRING and NIMBUZZ...it does nt work.....chked on skype .com bt no compatibility for tube..

guys i want u to know that the phone is good... the speakers is good,the screen is good,and theouch creen is very sensitive. But i guys there is also some bad thing about this phone.
they are:
sometimes it hang
there are some bugs and some minor glitches..
But Over all the phone is good.!

If u like touchscreen & crazy abt that, also love music & wanna use ur phone more like a portable media player - Go for 5800. coz, it is expressmusic, wide screen with gr8 resolution, crystal clear picture, u can play divx, xvid, mp4, movies (using smartmovie app).
If u dont want all the above, but a good n reliable media phone (sturdy) go for N79. its also good phone i think.
Not sure abt the battery features of N79, but i think it shud last longer (if they used battery with same spec?) compared to the touchscreen drains faster.

I've 2 queries for my N5800 Xpress music.
1) The Bluetooth connection keeps dropping every now and then. I'm trying to connect it to Toshiba BT v4.00.22(D) (my laptop is Dell Latitude 620)
Nokia 5800 Software version: V 30.0.011
Please help.
2) How can i make N5800 work as a webcam?

The price is cheaper for the wonderful features it has than the Arena. If you do get it make sure it works first because it might be fitted with the latest firmware V40 which to my opinion causes more problems because it's not polished yet. I have V31 on mine and plan to stick by it because it is virtually flawless. I would wait a while to upgrade in the future. When I bought mine it had V21 and it was a bit glitchy.
Now, my 5800 is smooth as silk and fun to have.

What is the optimum setting for converting avi videos to make it play on Nokia 5800 while using smartmovie player ?
640 X 360@30fps or 320 X 240@25 fps. I mean if i keep the video bitrates high, can i use the second option (320x240)? If i use the secönd option, should i keep aspect ratio to 4:3 or 16:9?
Please suggest.
