bought this phone yesterday, amazing features i must say...
i got v30, and v40 is available OTA, i am bit confused whether to upgrade or not, coz read somewhere that update is buggy!
so all those v40 users, whats ur view????

The nokia 5800 is a very good mobile which offers value for monet! audio quality is very good, superb FM radio, games and connectivity too are good. The sensitivity of the screen is ok but it's not the best in the industry. Works really fine after the latest update 40.00.05. Has great apps too. The only bad thing is it gets kind of sluggish when you put too much of apps, not music! Mine gets stuck on the nokia screen so i have to remove the battery to switch it off and restart it without the memory card! That's the only problem i have encountered and up to date it's one of the best phones i have ever used.

I've updated my firmware to V40.0.0.05, and now the radio on the phone is freezing all the time :(

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Go ahead to buy 5800XM. the gr8 unique features u hardly get in any other phone for that price are -
--Wifi (so easy to browse using Wifi n/w)
--GPS (lifetime free nokia maps)
--TV out (the feauture is NOT removed. wery well works, u need to by a cable)[samsung's tvout works only for video, not for camera/images/games/pdf reader etc.]
--Sound quality outperforming the other phones of same price range
--Symbian application avaliability is more (Nokia's OVI store is second to iPhone's apple store)
