Don't worry about that. I have one for two months now, and it's (by far) the best value for money phone in the market. And I still haven't got the v40 softwre, which I believe will make the phone even better. Just go for it, and join this big community...

I've heard many people had the display problem on 5800 where horizontal or vertical line appears on the screen. It happened very often in the past.
now i want to know that are users still facing the display problem on their newer 5800 handset, those purchased in the last one month or two. New 5800 owners, please confirm. Fear of display menace is holding me back from making a decision to get 5800.

JITESH, 22 Jan 2010hi i am from india i have purchased this model two weeks before, its software is v30.0.011.... moreI also have v30.0.011. it takes time for nokia to update all product codes for mobile sometimes 2-3 months, so just hang on and dont do anything risky like changing product code. Just keep checking for updates it will soon come.

Try to change it to a product code with the same branch, i.e. 0588xxx.

press *#0000# , wait for 3secs then press options and then click on check updates...u'll get the new update available for ur phone...

Also when installing applications, choose mamory card to save the phone's mamory.
