Can I directly update my firmware ver 21 to ver 40?
Or I must upgrade first to ver 30 and then to ver 40?

Mga Kababayan. My Nokia 5800 is still at v31 but I modified it to an Indonesian one APAC2 and Im currently downloading 100MB of 127MB for v40. Cant wait.
My product code is 0578218 but I changed it. Be patient and hope it comes soon

Sparklers, 16 Jan 2010im from the philippines also but no v40 update for me yet at NSU, still shows v31 :(0583152,but if you will check it the nokia website the version that will show is still 30,so i used the NSU and the version there is 40

2 weeks now, tmo in US resizes my mms pics to size of an icon,att works fine, great phone and sound, my first touch phone-confusing how something needs 2 clicks, others one,,opera mini,youtube,skype on nimbuzz, all great over wi-fi, ovi and software work fine with it//CON --be ready to be on hold for a loooong time and talk to unknowledgable people if you call Nokia :(

Jawwad, 16 Jan 2010I have just updated my firmware 2 days back, and am not happy, there's no Full Qwerty Keyboard... moreDid you hard reset your phone without restore setting? I faced same problem when i upgarede to new firmware to 21. My phone behaved weird, i hard reset some time but the problem persist. Finally i hard reset without restore setting and bingo my phone acting well.
I did the same when upgraded to v 31, no faced problem. I await firmware 40 as it's not yet come to my 5800

I have just updated my firmware 2 days back, and am not happy, there's no Full Qwerty Keyboard anymore, they have added Hand writting recognition in sms typing. and worst part, my home screen dialer is not working anymore, any suggestion how to fix it.i cant make calls from my phone until unless i add it as a contact and then make call.
Please help regarding dialer.

Hai dis is ankush from shimla, i hav just bought dat set before one month, dis is a ultimate set , but pls confirm its accessries, and version b,coz some sets r not compitable for tv output.

Goutham, 15 Jan 2010Hji all, I am planning to buy this phone... can any one blog out its usage pros & corns... moreI bought this phone few days ago. The chic and simple look of the phone and the speakers are magnificent.(There are 2 speakers) It has all the basic functions for a phone and some really cool ones but I wouldn't elaborate further. The down part is it is real difficult to browse our stuff in our mem. card. The camera shots are blur too. However this phone is worth the buy! :D
