i had this phone for few months,then got i phone and it rocks compared to 5800 , ifound 5800 was to slow in every way espically the touch screen.

Hi all, I read somewhere does not support 'smileys' when sending text, can someone plse confirm if this is true, that there is no smileys on the phone? Seems strange. Thanks.

I'm using 5800xm with a 16gb micro sd card. Yesterday, I installed few apps from ovi, and as i was about to finish, my phone froze. I tried restarting but it didn't. So i removed the back cover and the battery, reinserted n damn... It didn't start. So finally i decided to remove the memory card n it did start and when i put it back on it again made my phone freeze. I tried to restore my memory card by formatting it through memory card reader but no luck. I even tried formatting it from my pc but it kept on showing the error. It shows all the folders n files but cant access it. Is there anyway i can restore it? Can somebody tell me why does this happen, n what r the ways to ensure ur memory card survives long. Thanks

@Vijey @Anonymous thanks for the respond, seems our 5800 not yet to be all in one device. I am sure it would be best phone if nokia team would improve camera.

hahaha.... now i can say that it can compete with other
touch phones in the market!
and for the Nokia X6 they should work something new with
that phone when the 5800 with same feature is cheaper
than their new TouchScreen phone!

@ the people who keep asking what is firmware v40
it is an update on the nokia 5800 following v31. It includes new features for the 5800 like a new homescreen like that of 5530 and the awesome kinetic scrolling :P
