nhoj, 14 Jan 2010i can't update my 5800.i'm from canada.can anyone help with this problem,thanks.I just upgraded mine 6 days ago. There is an improvement in the camera in the dark. I used my phone direct for the upgrade to V30.0.11. Only the RM remains 356. Though, there is considerable gain in the speed of the phone: quick response of the screen, opening of files very fast, etc.
This equally solves the problem insert sim when there is.
Just dial *#0000# and go to option. Service provider charges applicable. Total size of the firmware is a little above 4MB.

remo, 13 Jan 2010So basically it is the memory card not the software that has the prob?will nokia replace it?if u r with in the period of warranty ..they will change or help u in other way...good luck!

@Shivani-Yes I am from India.I connected my cell to the computer and updated to v40 using the nokia software updater from version v30.I don't think that nokia has released v40 through update over the air.Through NSU its a 126 mb update.

GUYS!!! Is there anyone from India who has updated 5800 to version 40 which gives kinetic scrolling???
I'll be really greatful if you'll tell how you did it. My 5800's version is 30 and it does not show any new update Over The Air; not even in Nokia Software Updater.
