the phone freezes from time to time and i've had it for two weeks only and the battery life not so good...otherwise the phone is a work of art,has eveything needed by one even though some features are not easy to understand

i am from philippines and i am very picky with phones.you should treat this phone carefully since it is a touch phone.also, i have not experienced any problem with this except when i open the messages, it would say cannot access memory card.but when i check,the contents of the memory card are still there.bought it to service center and they said it needed a firmware update.after that, it was still the same.hahaha.but i'll just leave it as it is.i have my old reliable 6300 that i can always trust.

This is multitask phone, it's not like iphone single task that any time going back from any apps will exit to bee able to run next task, abws with this phone you run one app then if you don't exit, than simultaneosly you pres midle buttom will bring menu apps or home screen but the apps you was allready using is not shot down, so you have to prees and hold the midle butom 3.sec than menu from background runing tasks will apear, than click and hold the tasks you want to exit a menu will pop up and exit, so your phone will not hang any more, and your battery power lasts longer.

Hi, i bought this phone less that 2 weeks. I found that always "hang", the camera sometime black screen, have to restart it. The battery only for 1 day. May i know normally how long the battery standby time? Please advice. I suspect my battery problem.Now i have to charge my battery almost everyday. Please advice! Thanks!

It doesnt hang on my side and all are pretty flawless. Though, I would like to have its kinetic scrolling as an improvement.
Treat it like a kid and not a baby nor roughly. It's a touchscreen phone so I would be careful.
This is a nice phone with complete features but the missing TV Out on the newer batch is a hassle. I wish Nokia rbrings back the TV Out option even without the cable as with the Nokia N97 has TV Out but no cable. The Nokia N900 has both the option and te cable and it was released recently.

Friends,I want to buy this handset.My question is - can this phone be used for intensive handling? Not rough usage ,but really intensive handling. I mean Since the day i buy my handset it never gets turned off , unless and until it crashes or the battery runs down. I need to consistently get to my mails (every 15 mins or so). I want to buy this handset only for it's hardware specifications(it has everything that I need at an affordable price). I can't opt for E71. My next option is E63, but it lacks HSDPA n GPS (my deal breakers). So guys who are using this handset , do you think that this handset can handle really tough and intensive handling , or does it needs to be treated like a baby?
I really need an answer to the question . My N70 gave what it had , it has started to squeak (have been using it for above 2 yrs), thus need to buy a set within 2 - 3 weeks.

Anonymous, 17 Dec 2009I really hate this phone.I upgraded from my 5310 which I love.Compared with the 5310 the 5800 ... morebasically this phone is okay.loud music good for people with hearing problems especially with the ring tones and message alerts,comfort in holding this phone is superb,nice looks,cool package deal.battery life is very good,i mean above excellent.screen resolution is extraordinarily clear.
keypads are not the best to text with.espacially when you'r driving (of course dont text and drive but in emergency cases it is to be considered),the picture is very good on some angles.when at night,the picture and the video sucks like hell.and i was so disappointed about the image it gets.even with the flash it still sucks.my 6300 takes much better picture.video playing is limited to only few formats.but overall,i would say that despite the camera,and the text input, its all okay for daily use.not for intense use though.
