just got the 5800 a few days ago this fone really rocks and its more than what i expected from this one.its loaded with great features and the best thing this music xpress is loaded with the s60 v5. its equivalent to the N-series.the touchscreen is amazing and the speakers rock the free headfones gave the music a better sound clarity and its a pleasure.

For those who will get this phone, make sure you get the latest firmware v31. I've had it for just a week
downloading apps and some of them don't work. Also, when you use OVI suite it doesn't sync with v21...
Up to now, still struggling to download the updates using OVI.. Shall I use the latest PC Suite instead?

My Nokia 5800 works well, but when i go on the internet either by Wifi or Local internet connection the web page freeze and i have to restart the phone and it still doesn't work. How can i prevent this or how to stop this.

Hey Guys heard about the upcoming firmware v41.1.001 which should be coming in December.... I hope nokia does not disappoint us this time,it give us Widgets for home screen & kinectic scrolling...atleast in music library & Media gallery. Fingers Crossed

bose-india, 07 Dec 2009after transferring music files you have to 'REFRESH LIBRARY " you done it?Yea I refresh my library and existing songs files have lost, I checked out in file manager and they were really disappeared. But memory capacity remain the same. So should format memory again...

AMG133, 07 Dec 2009Just got this handset yesterday and having had an N95 thats now dead, I transfered my contacts... moreuse the back up option in pc suit. worked perfect for my 5300 to 5800.

when messages are going to outbox and you are unable to send txt,u need to check the message centre no. through your network provider.

revo, 07 Dec 2009what is more better nokia 5800 xpressmusic or nokia n97?pls help me to decide because i really... morethe n-series line up such as the n97 is designed more for photos, while the xpress music line-up such as the 5800 is designed more for music. in the words, the n97 has a better camera, while the 5800 xm has better speakers.
both are all-around smartphones, nonetheless.
it is a matter of what smartphone you could afford and a matter of which you like best photos or music

I have a problem in my Nokia 5800 Xpress Music.
when i send sms,then that sms go to outbox and doses not go to the reciver number.from that outbox it resend it again and again.any one know the solutuion of this.I also updated the software but the problem remains the same

Just got this handset yesterday and having had an N95 thats now dead, I transfered my contacts from that set onto outlook on my laptop using Nokia PC Suit PC Sync, when I tried to transfer the contacts last night, it said my phone was not support for the PC Sync even thought it was connected properly, I tried using OVI but its too confusing, anyone have some suggestions for me?

I just updated mine to v31. Is Nokia USA behind on the firmware updates? I wonder.
Also, is copy and paste possible via web pages on version 31?
