now, there is nokia messaging which is a s... moreI am new to symbian, i use windows mobile only. This is a age old symbian os doesn even have the feature of the syncing subfolders from MfE.
It seems you never organise your mails . did you ever get the chnace to sync your folders from outlook using mail for exchange.
If you were successful ,let me know how you do it.

now, there is nokia messaging which is a simple push email setting for your nokia
just like blackberry messaging
just input the username & password of your email
and you know what, oldman? the email will be displayed on the homescreen. with just a click, you can access your new incoming email.
and there's email for exchange application which is used to syncronize your nokia setting email to your outlook on PC

This is not a business phone at all.. no proper push mail solution, asks for a difficult password for locking the phone - eight digit alphanumeric character :-(.
I need to configure push mail, want all the outlook subfolders to be viewed and want a simple locking solution like four digit lock code.
was anyone able to configure push mail with sub folders.Please help me.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is a picture monster when it comes to night mode. Just go to the camera, hit the 3 bars, select SCENE mode, tap on NIGHT, exit.activate the night mode to REDUCE RED and you got a perfect picture in night time/ dark places.
Same goes to the video. select NIGHT and hit the lightbulb to be able to see in dark/night time. I must warn you that hitting the NIGHT button on video will slow the video (slow motion) so I will test the light bulb only one more time

Also the experience of watching videos on 5800 is amazing with its wide screen LCD. Plus you get 8gb microsdhc. But if camera is your priority, stick to n78.
Dont consider samsung jet since you are an nseries user, you wont be satisfied with a non symbian fone.

But i highly doubt the v40 rumours. But Waiting is a better option.

Im using the earphone which came along with sonyericsson W810I..getting good quality of sound..
pros:
- install powermp3 player for good quality music
- very good video recorder in daylight
- solid 7+ hrs talktime. If you are careful enough to exit apps after using u wud get 8+ hr talktime.
- 8GB card in the bundle
- attractive price for such heavy bundle
- very responsive UI
cons:
- image quality at dim light.

vince, 14 Nov 2009Hi Guyz,Im planning to change ma phone I've got N78 my options are 5800 or samsung jet but in ... morehihi, before this im using n78 also, but i finally change to 5800, the Jet is not good enough, but if u wish to have good camera then go for Jet, if not then 5800 will be a lot better. this is my opinion. im using 5800 firmware v31 for about 1 month, the performance is nice, especially the camera had improved so much from earlier firmware version. hope it helps. you can ask me if u got anymore questions.

i hve given my phone frm last 4 days for screen replacement still hvent got my phone frm nokia care they r so lazy even they charging me huge amount 2500 rs...rlly very disappointed guyz u hve ths phone then plz take care of screen a lotz
