You can't compare the two just because the 5800 have reduced the included accessories. Even if the 5800 is with less accessories now, as a smartphone, it still a good value for the money...

The sound quality of Earphone provided in salespack is not good for such a great music phone. Can anyone suggest any other set of earphone with good deep bass sound effect? I want one which are in-earphones & not that over earphones (i.e. Headphones ).

Hi Guyz,Im planning to change ma phone I've got N78 my options are 5800 or samsung jet but in jet thr is no OS I mean it has proprietary OS which is of no use so shud I go for XM5800???? n Howzz d Music quality of 5800 in v30 coz in earlier versions of firmware it ws nt up to d mark.........Plz Reply Guyz..........

Nokia Philippines has the 31.0.101 update with product code 0578218. And to think I hacked my 0578218 Red Nokia 5800 using an Indonesian product code. *face palm*
Im glad I did used the Indonesian product code as my phone can read Chinese and Japanese characters.

Iam using N95 for the last 2 years & 5800 for the last 2 months. n95 is totally a problem free handset. 5mp camera is too good. video recording quality is awesome. Hell lot of 3rd party applications are available for it. 5800 net browsing is good because of its big screen, faster gprs capability, and watching movies and tv in 5800 is too cool. I never had problem with n95, but with 5800 i faced lots of problems.

Hi mangesh need u r help r u happy with u r 5800 ,i got it for 13k + snhsr headset + blue tooth ,,still im feeling is 5530 is good i have search in google and came to know v40 f/w is coming to 5800 withe kinetic scrolling and cam quality and new home scren you can acheck in google hundreds are people aroun the globe says v40 coming in dec ,,,,should i wait or sell my 5800 for is it worth to keep so far i didnt have any problem only missing kinetic scrolling and cam quality and new home scren what u say ???????reply yaaar

n 5800 is the best you can use third party divix and xvid player and codec i am using opera beta 5work well just like pc opera you can open many tabs it is faster and also can save web page on your phone memory i have install many motion games they work well touch screen is best and very clear but you can not sut the camra shutter tone but it is possibel by third party if you have any problem about handset ask me

Pritam, 13 Nov 2009Hi friends....the software version of my nokia 5800 xm is V30.0.011....but the latest update i... moreu have to know ur factory code.. u can see under ur battery.. then u have to trick it by raf software to change temporary compatible code with v31 n update the firmware n after update then u have to back again the original factory code.. i had been tried it n its work.. now i use v31 n is't very responsive touchscreen than before..
