Every 5800 can be upgraded to v31 when it's available in th... morei dont ask to change code permanent but just temporary by jaf software so the firmware can recognize the code for v31 after the v31 already update into ur 5800 u can back the original code again.. so there is not to worry about.. coz yesterday i had been update v31 even my original code not compatible yet..

Every 5800 can be upgraded to v31 when it's available in that region of the world. Changing the product code just helps in getting the firmware which is not available in your country. Sooner or later, it will be available.
Moreover, changing the product code, voids the warranty of your 5800.

And the multitasking button you are asking for is the centre button. The one between the call(green) and end(red) button.

ganze, 11 Nov 2009well its jst little bit bend do u think that it will create problem in feature. well on commen... moreDude, its impossible to say whether it will or will not give a problem. You will just have to wait and watch. In my opinion a little bend should not trouble you, but since most of the IC's lie on the PCB, if even one of them is destroyed, then it will be a problem.
By the way if you have told them to only replace the LCD, then they will do just that. The comment section is just to let you knw wht problems exists, not necessary that they will work on it.

hey everyone.. im really interested in buying a Nokia 5800 XM but i wanted to know if it can multi task? so when im busy on the internet will i be able to send and sms without canceling my internet connection?
im asking because usaully on nokia cellphones they have a speacial button for multi task but i dont see one on this phone..
please help me decide..

Anonymous, 10 Nov 2009hi, can anyone tell me which is better? this samsung preston, nokia 5800xm or nokia 5530xm?? ... moredepend on Ur necessary coz all mobile phone has plus&minus.but if U like hear music,I suggest U to use Nokia 5800Xp Msc coz the sound quality is good,the hardware spec also.
