This is a really nice phone for the price and features it offers.....I was really surprised with the features and speed.....my previous was a N73ME and that was really slow, this is a vast improvement on the earlier features and with WiFi its works almost like a Laptop....except remember it's not one(Many people want it to behave like one.....However Thumbs Up to Nokia. I would have loved it if Nokia Maps had the Lifetime License like the N5800NE which was not available in the Middle East....but still you can add other GPS programs....which I like....Sound, Picture Quality and User Friendliness is awesome.

guys wanna ask. i have this problem on my phone. when someone is calling me, i cant hear the ring, but its volume is maximum already. first it will ring loud then decreases how can i solve this? pls help me!!
another one on my profile i assign a tone but when someones calling me instead nokia tune is being used. hope someone could help me on this!!!! please!

My E71 had it though !!This phone has internet radio app....
Goto real player and click on streaming links and then enter the IP address of the internet radio station you want to listen to......

I have Nokia 5800 US version since more than 6 months and I am totally satisfied with this phone.
This phone is comparatively cheaper.
Great Sound Quality, good battery life.
This phone is surely an I-phone killer except some features like the UI, Multi-touch.
But this phone comes with lot more features compared to iphone. The app-store now has many apps for the phone with the list increasing daily..........
I strongly recommend this phone to everyone......

Hey peoples! MP3 player originla is very bad. I can´t create playlist by folder. If I want create a play list, I have that choice music by music. Have other programs for MP3 player that I can creat my play lists for folder in memory card? I have more folders that creat the playlists. Thanks!

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2009I just recently realised that that is true for my set... That there is no support for TV out-m... moreIf you have the wires, then tv out is present in your device. The problem is that your tv set is not getting the video data from the wires. Might be some software bug, or your tv set is at fault. May be there is no proper contact of the video out wire with the tv set.

You can find the windows emulator on n-number of sites(i got it from mobicreed). Just type "windows7 for 5800" and you will get dozens of site with the .sis setup. All are trial versions and you have to pay around 5$ for the full one.
But again this is symbian and there is a method to crack the application. The method is also given on various sites.

nno, 09 Nov 2009does 5800 have accelerometer because i have n95 and i like this phone for the touchscreen and ... moreYes it has the accelerometer. But since you are an N95 user, you wont be satisfied with this fone.
Dont get me wrong, its an awesome fone with ALMOST all the features that n95 has. But the camera sucks compared to it, also the gps receiver and the wifi are better in n95. Plus this fone doesnt have graphics accelerator and no support for ngage gaming.
The 3d gallery is missing and the speed of browsing fotos is slow. Plus the loud speakers are not as loud as the n95 but are very close to it.
All in all 5800 is an excellent fone for widescreen videos and music experience but not on par with the flagship n95.
