i bought this phone last month...with f/w v31..
and whenever i try to install any app,themes,games...it says expired certificate..
can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.

i've just sold my 5800 xm.. just used it for a month. i didn't enjoy. i don't understand why does it cam is 3.2 megapixel bit it sucks!

I've already tried Symbian S60 5th edition on the 5800XM, and now I'm quite pissed off...because I don't know whether I should choose Symbian S60/Nokia 5800 or Windows Mobile 6.5,
5800/Symbian S60 is easier to use and thumb and very good at music, but I also like Windows Mobile because I'm a programmer, I'm a bit more familiar with WinMo.....

I've bought this phone today only & it's already creating a problem. The touch key on top right corner has stopped working. I don't know why?

V31.0.008 and v31.0.101 aren't available in india yet. I'm currently on v31.0.008 because i changed my product code. Haven't updated to v31.0.101 as it's said to buggier. My advice- don't update now. Only update when v40.0.001 comes out. It's supposed to come by end of this month and it's supposed to be a major update with enhanced homescreen and kinetic scrolling. Hope everything is clear.

The chage log i noticed from the new F/W is 1)after hard reset C: memory shows 76.4mb free, bfore the new F/W upgrade my C: memory shows 77.8mb free. may be this 1mb gets filled with new nokia email client. 2)nokia maps updated that may be V.3 thats all these two are the changes... Pls help me about this frnds...

Guys...I got one thing to say...don't hate your phone if something goes wrong...learn to love it coz the more you keep on worrying...the more problems that will occur.
Recently, a virus just entered in my phone and I wasn't worried a bit coz I know it will be fix so what I did...I reformat the memory card and I was glad that the virus was gone. I just love the phone even if has a little flaws.

nokia5800ram, 09 Nov 2009whats the new version of firmware now?? i have v31...im from phil..V31 is not yet available in our country. I asked nokia center and they said maybe next month. Can't wait to upgrade to newer version.

SJ, 07 Nov 2009don't think you get any extra accessories in the sales package now. the tv-out cable and the r... moreyeah...some packages don't have the complete accessories.I bought my phone last October, the sales lady asked me if what color I like...I said the red one and she said it has incomplete accessories but twas manufactured September 09...WTF...newly manufactured but then it's incomplete? how's that?then the blue one has the complete package and twas manufactured April of this year...who cares when twas manufactured...as long as it's complete so I chose the blue color and I'm so satisfied with it coz all are working esp. the TV out.just perfect!

I just recently realised that that is true for my set... That there is no support for TV out-mode... I've tried, audio comes out from my TV speakers but there is no visual. Is there anything at all that I can do to utilise this feature? I have after all been supplied with the wires and all...
