feliloi, 07 Nov 2009hey wont da frame break if i try to open da panel bymyslf if u kno hw ta do it plzz let me kno .....The frame wont break but there is a cable inside attached to the earpiece and the frame. That may break. So its better you go to Nokia care for the same.
In sunlight, the brigthness of your LCD increases for legibility. Moreover, the sunlight reflects from the surface above, making it difficult to look what's inside. So theres a good chance that you might not be able to see the spot in sunlight. Even if its dust or if its an LCD defect.

i love this phone....all features needed here.
but need help...my phone is not working properly for about 2 wks. for some reason i'm not always able to rec. and make calls....it's not the network. when making call.."connection error" reads out.
help me please!!!!!

Did anybody install garmin to their 5800?? i have installed mine but the GPS reception if very poor. Is it normal? I've change from E52 to this phone. My E52 was working fine with garmin. But with my 5800 it's really hard to get a satellite signal. Is it the software problem or my phone problem? can anyone help?

Browsing is good either you use default browser or finger friendly opera mini 5 beta. Youtube easily can be played directly from default browser. You can install youtube application too if you don't want to play in browser.
Music is good. Based on my experience it's better than my ex w960. It sounds more details and bass is amazing. You can tweak EQ to find which sound you prefer. You need to buy a good pair of headphones outthere to find good sound quality as onboard headphone that come is suck (except you buy with special package, Senheisser something).
Battery life is last 1 day on heavy usage. Primary for hours of browsing including downloading with wifi connection. Browsing is battery eater.
Outlook is subjective. You can look at the gallery. The material the phone use is plastic.

Please let me know how to install the latest update in the 5800 Express Music set. I love this set. By the way where can I get authentic themes and applications for my set. Is there any setting to make the volume more in the set? Please do reply back to my personal e-mail ID. i.e. sharu268@gmail.com. I have purchased it only 35 days ago. Haven't been able to play around with it. So, it would be very greatful if you do reply me back to email ID.

Did you update the firmware separately.yes frnd, updated my F/W yesterday from NPD, bcas my silencing calls function thru sensor settings not working, so they update it & now working peoperly but the confusion is ur F/W is .011 & mine is .008...... is my F/W is new or old pls refer me buddy...

Ive been using this phone for nearly two months and i can say that it is a good phone, but not great. the hardware is good but its the software that troubles me. i have sent this phone to nokia care for 2 times already for fixing my volume control for my music player and also my crashes. my apps have crashed for quite a few times and i was forced to remove the battery to make it work again. there was once when the whole phone crashed until i have to flush the whole system. i basically lost most of my files. as for gaming, this is not a gaming phone as compared to the iphone and so on. cuz there are not many games for the nokia 5800 and also, pretty little apps. the camera is not as good but still average. the video quality is good and so is the touch screen functions, its good if u are a first time user. =) the battery life is average and the wifi works great. the internet browser is also pretty smooth and the nokia maps works fine. the gps works fine as well. overall i would give this phone a 8/10 rating. =)
