Hv u faced any probs as such?

animated screen is not necessary.. Nokia purposely ruled out this animated feature, just to save battery. Nokia's intention is to swith off the screen as soon as pos when phone is not in use.. that how nokia 5800 made for, they optimised the mobile to save battery and used so many sensors to turn off the screen whenever user not watching it..!!

From the very first symbian phone there was no support for animated wallpaper. But you con go to ownskin website and download the animated theme for the phone. You can't use the animated wallpaper of your own though.

sweety, 02 Nov 2009hi guys, Does any of you encountered a problem with the phone after you upgrade it? thanx^^My found behaved strangely after i updated my firmware via ota. It asked me password each time i used default internet browser. I did hard reset without restore setting and bookmark. I backup my contacts through gmail sync. Now my phone is normal.

Iits a great touch fone by nokia. when i buy it first it has the old version n some things were not working properly that time like front camera. but nokia gave us the oppurtunity to update your fone from internet. now my fone iz working properly. thanks to nokia. i like it 5800 xpressmusic.

jc-phils, 01 Nov 2009i had my 5800 since aug21 and im loving it everyday... currently im bored with it but it still... moreGet a new SIM card and your problem with "message symbol" on the corner will disappear... probably your SIM card is a bit old.. ain't it? give it a try!
Most users don't know but there are a lot of problems that can be solved changing the SIM card... because there are lot's of compatibility issues... cards have different "chip grids", differente machines manufacturing them, manufactured in different times, etc.. and mobiles itself are always coming, not compatible with 100% SIM cards on the market...
For users interested in free GPS in 5800 try to google "Ndrive" or "GarminXT" .. Ndrive the best choice without a doubt... Compliments to everyone!!
