Hello guys can anyone help me to solve my problem about my n5800.I had bought my n5800 last oct.09,2009. The sofware version was v21, so far my n5800 worked well and excellent before i decided to drop by at the nokia center in alabang to upgrade my software v21 into v31. After i availed the v31 my n5800 becomes more excellent on its performaces except about my phone derictory. My problem about this is that the contact details have only two details; contact name and phone no. there are no contact image, e-mail add., work, set ringtone and etc. Where in during my v21 the contact details were complete. Guys please help me to fix this issue. Maybe it has something to do with the contact setting but i've treid several times finding the option setting to fix my contact details, But i can't find. I hope you could help me guys.

back side of this phone is not ugly, if u opting the black coloured phone.(so better is Black with grey colour) * Red is total waste&pathetic.

Go and buy this one, bcoz this is best buy in this price range(13-14k). If ur budjet is more than 19k, then surely go for Samsung Jet/OmniaII.

(2)TV out doesnt work any more (i dnt understand why ppl say it work i hve conneted using my old n82 tv out put wire but still no use)

Folks, remember that battery life will differ from region to region as your signal strength increases or decreases. Also remember that 3G and 2G signals have different rates of drain. And, of course, if you want to have a longer battery life, switch off bluetooth, gps, wlan. Keep your screen's brightness as low as possible and have the screen switch off after 15 seconds. In observing all of these, I get an average of 5-6 days of battery life - that is while i still talk and send sms's and listen to the occasional song or two. It's not the phone or the battery, but the way you use the phone and how much drain you put on it.

Why do I always get no gateway reply on my Nokia5800. I've tried several online advices and yet encountered the same problem.Please help.

I have been using this phone for 1 month. All I can say is this phone is suberb. You can chat the whole day, take photos, make calls, check emails. Even after very heavy usage your phone still has 60% battery life at the end of the day. You can do this on a WM which I'm using previously. My advice to those who are checking this phone out, go for it and make sure the firmware is the latest.

Gilly Rocket"", 26 Oct 2009How VOIPis possible in 5800xm???? Pls explain it & guide me king......You need to install 3rd party application like nimbuzz or fring (my favourite one is nimbuzz, due to its faster performance to detect internet connection).
You can do voip nimbuzz to nimbuzz account, yahoo to yahoo or skype to skype, as well as some paid accounts to call land and mobile phone numbers.
Just install neither nimbuzz or fring and then try to make voip. It sounds clear.

Gilly Rocket"", 26 Oct 2009My 5800 works with N79's TV-out cable try to change settings in settings>phone>accesories>Tv o... moreBattery is average - 1 day ~ sometimes 2day, need to charge everyday. but I use wifi, gprs, run movies, browse , check mails, listen to music & radio for 3hrs during my bus travel.
Really need to appreciate the battery life - Even if you watch the full movie , the battery level will drop only by one level. None of the windows mobile gives this battery backup.
5603 gives a very good battery - 2~3days comparing to this phone my wife never charge the phone at all.

Hey guyz, for best battery life >
- turn off WiFi scanning
- select GSM only under Network
- screen off after 15sec
- minimize screen brightness
I get 3days normal talk use, 5days if I don't use WiFi. YMMV.
