hey ppl just updated my firmware to v31.0.101 ... it seems faster... specially image rotation....but email bug is still there.. plz try to fix it....... btw plz let me know if kinectic scrolling is coming for nokia 5800 or not....

Is there any theme or any option on home theme where i am able to see 4 contacts along with calender TO -do entries on home screen. In other way is there any way in which i can see both shortcut bar and contact bar on my 5800's homescreen?

For example in the previous version of software the device might experience few drawbacks like hanging problem,when u selct an application like a game loading speed being slow like tat. When u upgrade u'r software to a higher version there will be more benefits for example u wud be able to install new game software and speed and compatibility wud be really gud. U can go to www.nokia.com download nokia software updater the select u'r phone model and connect u'r phone to u'r system using a data cable and thru online u can upgrade u'r software. Take care.

hi bought this phn on 9th oct for rs 13250(HYD)its fast,good interface and easy to use but it has already hanged thrice and once the screen completely went blank with only green lines so i had to restart and yesterday all by itself all my inbox msgs got deleted
MY Q; i am getting a wire burning type of smell from the charging jack(on top of phone), is it normal(light smell)

She said that there is no point in upgrading, But i think that upgrading can be a good thing.
Sadly i dont know what upgrading does.

I've heard that Nokia 5800 handsets coming after september are not found to be having that LCD display (flickering)problem. Either Nokia have rectified that problem just like in the speaker's case in February this year... or is it too early to comment on such issue? Well...only time will tell.

At present, Nokia 5800 handsets are coming with v30 and have ARM 11 434 MHz processor.

Patrick, 23 Oct 2009Can I know where should I get the v31.00.101 software? Patrick log to nokia site, go to 'Get Support & software' tab and then go to download software tab. In that page u will find Device Software Update icon. Click it and again u have to click 'Can I Update?' tab to see whether ur phone has any updates. If there is an update then u can go to pc suite nd click software updater & follow d instructions
