The price reduction of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic came up as surprise because
There are some catches though:
1. The video-out hardware is not available
2. Video-out cable is removed.
3. Additional stylus is removed.
4. Pouch is removed.

Its out now everywhere ar 13.5k DP comapred to 16.700 earlier price. But @ the cost of not having TV out, No extra stylus, No Pouch, No stand, No 3 months free GPS... I thinks.. It's really worth it ;-) Class of cell though not upto the mark. pPl who want there first Touch screen go for it....

I work in a Phone connect store and have sold maybe 6 of these 5800's, ALL have come back with problems, software, inability to use MP3s as ringtones, stalling up, losing time on the clock, Ive had to sedn them back for customers to be replaced or software upgraded. not very good on a $1000 phone, come on Nokia lift your game

its great phone with no drawbacks.only one thing make a diff if u r camera freak has "ok" quality camera.thats it .it has great web exp.gps works great .

I didn't get the TV out cable and pouch with the phone.....
But there is tv out ... morehei dude. The feature is still available only you lack the tvout cable(wire) in your package so you are obliged to buy it seperately.

battery easily drains. I wonder it might be bec of the touch screen technology which consumes greater energy. i love the sound and the screen. it took a longer time to send a text message compared to a phone with actual buttons.i think the camera needs better clarity but since this is a music phone, its quite expected lesser quality i guess compared to its audio quality.

hardware or software problem dear these problems are not made by just watching the phone they become becouse we people dropp or mishandled the phone .dear its nokia not a crap copy piece of any other model.ok

i have it and i m using it and still i found no bug or any type of firmware error on this phone and so far as concern to reply of a person that it got more bugs than a tree .dear plz first use it then tell the people arround u ok

One easily gets tired of the phone. Very slow in transictions. My former Sony Ericsson w950 has a lot more graphical features

Thanx 4 d reply ... I live at goregaon (mumbai)...
As far as i know , there are 2 versions of 5800 available here...
One at around 17-18k with tv out and other accessories like extra stylus, pouch, stand, tv out cable....
And the other at around 14-15k but without tv out and without the above mentioned accessories...
You get bill & warranty & free headsets with both versions....
So are you sure that you get tv out at 13.5k

FINALLY,
v31 comes to INDIA .i have updated the firmware and its just too awesome.touchscreen has improved music quantity(quality is same) has increased ovi maps 3 etc. etc.
