Sameer, 29 Sep 2009which is better touch screen or regular keypad having?Hey Sameer. Touchscreen numeric keypad on 5800 is easier and more comfortable to me. I used to have 6120 and w960 before. I am a fan of numeric keypad with t9 as the method gives me fast to type.
I am slow to type qwerty on 5800. I tried physical qwerty on e63 and it's more comfortable and more error free to type.
I think if you're a fan of qwerty input, just buy a physical qwerty phone. If you like numeric keypad method, it's ok to choose touchscreen phone like 5800.

Its a piece of junk. In 4 months I had to hard reset 4 times, and every time with a new problem: Videos disappear, installed programs suddenly gone for ever, Feature not supported stupid error, calendar entries won't show on home screen, call log limited to ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20 calls, extremely stupid address book search and a useless touch UI.
To mention some good things: Its very fast, good camera if lighting is good, good sound quality, fast 3G and good Wi-fi.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2009How can i view a Word,Eccel,or PPT file? cause it sys "file not supported" Thnx alotReset your phone. check if files are not corrupted i.e. they have been completely transferred into the phone. You can do that by transferring the files to another device that reads those files from the phone. If the files are fine, contact Nokia.

...Gilly Rocket..., 29 Sep 2009Hey frnds pls help me.. I' m a Multimedia freak and I am planning to buy a handset for this d... moreIf videos are included in your definition of "multimedia" then 5800XM with 3.2" wide touch sensitive screen with 360*640 pixels & 16:9 aspect ratio is far better at video playback then 5730XM with a far smaller 2.4" 240*320 pixels screen. Also since both are Xpressmusic branded music playback is similar. Same goes for camera, both has 3.15 MP. Plus you get a 5800 in INR 14,000/- only.

Hey frnds pls help me..
I' m a Multimedia freak and I am planning to buy a handset for this diwali i am really confused between 5730Xm and 5800Xm.
Both suits my needs and both had the same features nearby.
I'm really intrested in touch with KINETIC SCROLLING and in INDIA we get branded Headset for free with 5800 for 13.5k. Design wise 5730Xm is lot much better and i really liked it..
As per line from mobile review that 5730Xm has 96MB of RAM after Booting which is slightly higher than 5800..
Frnds here ur answers and advice helps me lot..
