Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Save your sanity,stop looking at the 5800,,n85...infact stop looking at nokias alltogether,,samsungs are better built,,perform better,,and dont need constant updates to fix software bugs that come standard with the 5800 ....samsung omnia hd is a far,far better phone in all respects...and you wont have to spend countless hours at a nokia care centre

after seeing Nokia product support, i've decided i will never buy any nokia mobile phone, there are plenty of other products available, (no hard feelings Nokia)

i have this phone 2weeks and i think it is great, but i have a problem. When i don't use my phone during the night when i sleep my phone turns off. When i wake up the phone is off and i am unvailable. This is very anoying and i want to turn this off. What is prohimity sensor for auto turn off, is this thing connected with my problem. Plz help me

My phone just decided that formatting the memory card would be interesting and it did just that all at itself. I lost everything. I've read many users complained this before. I tried to play music, not found, everything gone, memory card emptied.......

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2009the tv out slot is the 3.5mm headfone jack,,it does audio and also video using the supplied cable ..Ok, so does this mean I should test the handset with a tv out cable before buying it ?

You get no phone with so much features at such a low price. Current price is 13.8k in India. For the price drop, they have removed hardware TV out, stand and extra stylus. Instead they have bundled a Sennheiser MX60 headphones worth over 2k. Which phone gives you something like that.
The phone can play MP4 videos at 640 x 360 resolution on the 3.3" 16:9 widescreen display with 16 million colours at 29FPS. Nokia calls it nHD. Even the camera records at 30fps at 640 x 480 though the videos aren't that good.
Moreover, This year might end up with 5800 Xpress Music changing its badge to 5800 navigation Edition. So if you need one, better get it soon.

phone is actually very nice and i got no problems with it. Screen and theme effects are very good.music/video quality are great. only problem is.....with ovi.
nseries pc suite is still the best to use for 5800 XM
the ovi software is really annoying me a lot. could someone help me with it ?
there was no problem until i used my own music. the problem started with ovi when i started use protected music .it gives errors and stop working.
i think its not problem with my pc because my pc is good enough to handle ovi and ovi shows error to videos sometimes.
it shows my music 3 times (it shows each song 3 times in the library)
