Nokia is cheating this time(Nokia5800)-
1. picture quality is like old VGA camera (I was using N73, which has same specification but picture quality of nokia 5800 is worst).
2. Nokia says it as a music phone but music quality is same as old phones (ya, its headset jack is a good thing)
3. No adobe reader in 5800....i have to buy it for Rs. 800.
4.some times it goes off automatically.
5. now i m facing prolem, it does not boot....On switching on phone , it shows nokia logo but does not start....i have shown it to customer care twice but now again same prolem.
6. No file hide software....initially they proides u, file hide software which is a demo n like many other software they demand money after trial period.
7. Games devloped for it r pathetic.......if u like mobile games, this phone will make u cry. this phone is not compatile for most software or games u download from net.

Nokia in the philippines really suck!! The v30 havent been released here yet and v31 is already out.. What the heck?!

I'm beginning to think that this is the best phone in the world. Why? Because no one ever compares it with another phone in the price range. Am i hearing someone saying Samsung star? No no not with its 256k screen. no gps etc etc.
It's almost always compared with the iphone which is about double the price. Which other phone is constantly compared with a phone double it's price?

this phone really sucks its qute slow,only its music quality is good the touch screen is also not fgood its a waste of money but if there r any music fans this cell is the best choice for u even the 3g facility an wilan facility and its games and applications are gud but the touch screen facility is not so good

but let me inform you v31 update is still not available in india

How mani times we have told you guys, that the capacitive screen is not better than rezistive for posibilities you can have, so iphone scumers, you have to joing nokia comunity or go away, lol!

Although there are better phones out there, i don't think any other touchscreen phone put it to shame. The screen is just great with it's resolution. Although internet speed is very good, surfing is a real pain. You try to click a link and you end up zooming in and out. And on pages with many image link, you try to scroll down and and end up opening many new windows. Typing can be very fast but the text confirmation is right at the top corner, so you need super long thumb to press it or always use two hands for typing, i'm not gonna talk about the camera, everyone knows about it. The screen lock slider should have been ambidextrous. Other than that it's a good phone, especially the music. If you buy this phone, please throw away the bundled earphone and buy a decent in-ear earphone. Gps is so fast, i like it a lot. Quite a nice phone this is.

in my opnion :

- advantages :
640x360 : screen is really awsome .
GPS reciver is fast (takes less than 60sec)
in open places : when it locks the satellite :
nothing can stop it .
wi-fi b/g : is great too .
many 3rd party software are now available
so u can handle (office / pdf / compressed files)
and so much more .
volume is not so high but sound quality is really
amazing .
in total : i'm so comfortable with my 5800XM .
& if the image quality was better : i
won't change my phone again ever !!
may be i'm gonna wait for the X6 to be available and see if i would change my mind .
