I am facing a problem with my nokia 5800 xm after updating its software.....its sensor for rotating screen doesnt work sometimes......is anyone more facing this?????

Please someone tell me whether the display problem of nokia 5800 xm(appearance of vertical/horizontal lines on the screen after unlocking the screen) is a software problem or hardware problem...
my phone has v30 version....is it because of it?????how can it be solved?????

at present 5800 doesnot support tv out but tv feature will once again be availble when new stock comes this was told to me by nokia care person.

nokia is worried about selling 5530 thats why they lowered the price of 5800 to clear of stock so that there is no competion b/w 5530 and 5800.so simply if there is no 5800 in market you will be forced to buy 5230 and 5530.
and some people say what will happen to 5800 for that i want to tell 5800 will be relaunched as 5800 navigation edition but in december at same price of 20k at which 5800 was launched.nokia is so smart.

1) Video quality = OK (Not at al great compared to SE Cybers... moreyou say music and video are not good . why ?
don't compare SE phones with nokia
and SE phones are always for 3rd party applications.
check the video quality with Good videos
check the music quality with good ear phones
And some say Nokia got "Xpress music" like SE got "Walkman".
i think even single walkman phone can't withstand anything with nokia features.
example:
SE phones offer only class 10 gprs and while nokia offer class 32.
and even after completing one/two years after being launched some nokia phones are still in top.
while sony ericsson always be top phones for very little time and they would be at bottom most positions
another good example is that Still SE phones don't offer 16.7M colors mobile. still at 256k colors

Yes, i agree. Nokia team please... Give us our need to this mobile. Change the homescreen with same kinetic scrolling to n97. Its Unfair for us that this mobile does not given attention.

bought 5800xm with fw v30 recently, good phone. I changed the earphone, got better one and now music is very good. The original earphone is bad, infact all nokia earphone is er...quite bad. It can't do much out of the box, but i'll get the certificate, then hack it then things will get interesting. One fundamental problem is that when dialling by the keypad (dialler) the contact names are never displayed. It always makes me think i dialled the wrong number. Name's displayed only by choosing the contact. So far so good but i miss the zoom and panning slideshow with background soundtrack.

can anybody tell me how to use the Tv-out option? i took the phone a month back,now nokia has stopped giving the tv-out cable in the box,so i used an old AV cable i had but when i connect to the tv there is only sound,i cant see the videos or images,please give me some info about this
