i am planning to buy 5800 this month.
the new packet of 5800 does not come with vedio stand,stylus,tv out cableand rubber cover... but comes with new v30 edition software which is much more faster than the old one...... so i am confused... that should i buy the old 5800(included with all old accesories) and get it updated or i should go for new 5800 ( v30 ) ??? plz help mee. i am confused..

Is it true that it has poor battery life? My 5800 has 3 bars. WHen I listened to music after 20 minutes, it became 1 bar. I used the Offline mode. Video Camera is 1 hour from full to 1 bar. Pfft!! My 6220 can go longer than 1 hour

I'm thinking of getting this phone, but I'm not very tech savy. Is it relatively easy to learn to use? Let me put it this way, I cant use a computer, except for internet!!

Winura, 03 Sep 2009People why do some of you buy your phones from un-authorized places? To save a few quid? Well ... moreur wrong bro. If market dependency applies, the xtra stylus, stand and the rubber case wont ae included and the usb cable that comes with it is very short compared to the 1st release.. I guess the new package doesnt include all the other goodies.. And another thing, those that comes with complete package, it is indicated at the back of the box that case and plectrum included.. The other package has no indication.. Hope this helps to clarify.. Peace bro..

According to my mathematical calculation using the known value of the hypotenuse (diagonal = 3.2 inch) and the aspect ratio (16:9), and by using Pythagoras theorem, the breadth and length of the screen of nokia 5800 xpressmusic is 45.7199 mm and 81.2799 respectively. Mathematicians and owners please confirm.

Im dissapointed at Nokia right now. Really.
They have been launching new mobiles here and there (which some are quite good)
but they have been ignoring the pleas of the 5800 users of getting another update.
An update to have the homescreen of all the S60v5 (except 5800) implemented on the 5800. Is it THAT HARD?
Sorry Ive just been Waiting for it for awhile.

the phone I purshased is not a fake phone..it is written on it nokia and has an original battery and accesories, but it is missing tv cable..etc....it is also made in china....do you know from where I can buy a finland nokia? pls tell me because I will return thid one

People why do some of you buy your phones from un-authorized places? To save a few quid? Well though you save a few quid you will be missing out a lot of things. I have read some posts from a few people who has not go the things in the retail package which they were supposed to.
I have seen what you've got. Those units are made in china which are identical copies of the original phone. This phone is being sold like hot cakes all over the world and there is no way you can get a handset running on the old firmware. My advice to you is return your devices to the places you've bought and get a refund. Give your money a worthwhile run.
Get yourselves a proper 5800XM. If market dependency applies to your region you will only lose the phone "stand". Other equipment is default to all regions.
