im a 5800 lover and i like the feature of this unit,, but my prob is the upadate of this phone i connect an wireless connection to update but it all failure.. v 51.006 i want to upgrade in v 60. any one can help me how to update my phone.. =) pm me you comments

I'm very pleased to download a recent software update. I've had this phone for almost 3 yrs and I'm quite happy with it. No major issues experience ever since.

I updated my firmware today.
Now its
Software version : V60.0.003
Software version date : 22-09-2011
Custom version : 60.0.003.C03.01
Custom version date : 22-09-2011
Language Set : 19
Model : 5800 XpressMusic
Type : RM-356
Latest Update : 25/11/2010
But i cant identify changes of new update.
If any one know whatz the difference between V52 to V60, please comment.

prashant_cool10, 13 Dec 2011my cell is 1.5 year old and nw it gives me display problem.... after 7 pm at evening to 9 am a... morei think this is due to cold weather which usually occurs the most during this period.the screen is affected by the cold.i recommend you to keep your phone in some warm place like in pocket or under a bed during this period.dont place it in some very hot place the battery may explode

M to havin the Nokia 5800Xpressmusic, m havin the latest firmware i.e. 60.0 & its better then the previous ones... the changes all you can see while using it, thnkx Nokia... you really "connects people"

Moreover, if u want the screen to work proberly just try to put it in a warm place like your pocket of your pants but this is a temporary solution..

AnonD-1782, 13 Dec 2011Back up your phone ACCEPT the phone setting. Do the *#7370#. hard reset. but this remove the ... moresORRY!!!! the hard reset WONT removed any installed firmware...sorry for the incomplete sentence for the previous post
