so a week ago i sold my phone due to technical problems i was having with it, the phone's touch screen stopped operating by it's self, i don't know why.
it is a really nice phone but it has many disadvantages.
it's sound quality is amazing.
the camera is not that bad.
it is a very good phone for it's price i can get it for like 280$ but it is definately not as good as the iphone.
the touck screen is sometimes unresponsive.
surfing the internet with it is not fun, it is rather difficult.
the N97 my brother has is much better and cooler.
i just got the E52 it is ana amazing phone, super fast phone.
i advice all to buy it.

Hi all, just wondering if some one can help me im looking to buy this phone, i just want to make sure that it can play youtube clips using wifi on this phone. If so will i need to downlad anything to make it work?

I have bought nokia 5800 on 8 aug 09.
(GOOD THINGS)
1: Good sound through loudspeaker.(20 to 30% louder than my old nokia 5700).
2: I m 80% satisfied with camera performance.(good camera) not as bad as mentioned.
3: Display is so clear (thanks to 360x640 pixel).
4: Afordable price as copmare to iphone.
5: Its a joy to use a touch screen phone.
6: Video recording is superb.
7: Watching videos or movies is like a fresh breez.
8: Tv out fuctionality make it more attractive.
9: My firmware is v21 and only one time hanged in 10 days.(which is my fault installing uncompmatable app)
10: Supports/play flash videos downloaded from utube through pc.
(Bad Things)
1: My battery is not as good (one and a half day of using it and battery goes).
2: Display is difficult to see in outdoor condition.(due to sun)
3: Web browsing is not so good.difficult to operate.
4: Some times response of touch screen is very lazzy.
5: Not good for those who have not previously uses symbian phones.(better to go for samsung star)

Just updated my 5800 to v30. Cannot see any difference from the version 21. Pls can anyone tell me the difference. Thanks.

i just bought this phone last week and it was very amazing!! but there is only one problem... it battery life span is to low.. it will only caters 2 days then goodbye!! and if i will play music w/ it it will only run for one day...
can u please help me up guys??

Loaded the phone with about 1600 high resolution pictures, and the phone gallery runs flawlessly:-) awesome phone i love it:-).

I just upgraded my 5800 from v21 to v30. I see no difference in the phone versions. Can someone help explain the differences if any. Thanks.

Its so hard to delete multiple items in this f0ne.. Grr. Stupid developers , n0 shortcut f0r marking items. Ill give u an idea, how bout a small b0x s0mewhere in the item that u could put a chek mark,or togle!

hi guys,winura any one please help me, i hv got a trouble, i made a backup of my messages only, on memory card, after that the phone restarted and then i tried to restore my messages back into phone memory..the information displayed 'dont use any other application during restore process' after few seconds it was displayed ' restoration complete ' phone will restart and i pressed ok..wen the phone restarted i checked my messages, but there were no messages in my inbox.it was displaying 0 messages :-(:-(, where all my messages hav gone, they r magically disappeared,i repeated the restore process 2 and 3 times again,bt after the phone restarts and i check the messages,there are still no messages in my inbox..pleaseeeee help me guys,where my messages are all gone??..i hav followed the correct procedeure to backup and restore data,hv done nothing before,hvnt installed any software,.my phone memory also shows 0 size of messages..and i hv ensured that i hv set the messaging memory to phone memory.bt my messages are not displaying.where they r gone???how can i restore them back into my phone???...please please help me guys...:-(:-(

does anybody know from where I can buy nokia 5800 made in finland..I searched a lot in many websites,but I didn't find any...all of them are made in china,even in nokia official website,their phones are made in china.
also I want the phone to have 900/2100 mhz to work with the 3G,not 850/1900 like the american version.I live in USA but I don't want the american version...so pls does anyone has his nokia made in finland with 900/2100 mhz?pls tell me from where I can buy it online...

Karan, 21 Aug 2009on various website i saw that 5800 cpu speed is 369 Mhz but here it says 434.can someone tell ... moreForum.nokia.com has deeper specs of all the devices and it states from v21 and up the clock speed is no longer 369Mhz it's 434Mhz but they have to something about the RAM though 60% is too much at least 40% would be good
