chai, 09 Aug 2009it dun hav much more different in v30 update. some ppl say it hav obvious improve on speed but... morehi you are right !! i have already updated my ph ver to v30 but ni diff.in term of sounf quality or camera firmware .. i was thinking they will add PDF reader as upgrade in this firmware ,, its much nedded..

Anonymous, 01 Jan 19705800 is better than g900. Screen is far wider with high resolution. Music, video, web browsing are awesome. Messaging is ok that 5800 has multiple inputs. I thought before i had 5800 writing email/sms was hard but after came in my hand it's easy. So, 5800 for sure.

eve, 10 Aug 2009I've been scared to use touch screen phone without keypad. coz i think it will be very difficu... moreWith the 5800 XM, you have the option to use the Virtual Alphanumeric keypad when creatings sms/mms/e-mail messages. It's no different that using an actual Alphanumeric Keypad from a regular mobile.
It's very easy to use for persons who are accustomed to normal mobile.

I had the same issue when I first bought this and now I'm doing just fine... :)

I am planning to buy a samsung omnia however 5800 is way cheaper so i think i would go for this one. i have some questions though. i am going to australia soon and do you happen to know if it would work well there? i mean do i need to update firmware (i have no idea what this is by the way) or have a special procedure done with it (unlock, etc.) haha!

Still no update in the Philippines,, but you can try changing your product code, you can use product code from Europe so that you can update,, try searchin google for it. but it may void warranty,,

i just have a question.. im from the philippines and im trying to update my phone via wi-fi, but after clicking update software, my phone says no update available, but the latest firmware is available.. why can't i update?.. is there something wrong with my phone?... besides this situation, the phone is awesome.. believe me..
