The black fox, 30 Jul 2009How can i know that nokia made from china or hungary?open the back, remove the battery, and under wear the battery is placed it should either say MADE IN FINLAND or MADE IN CHINA .... not hungary. Nokia is Finish company.

Akash, 29 Jul 2009Hey guys can you recommend me some video converter for nokia 5800...I am using AnyVideoConverter and it works perfectly fine for me. try googling anyvideoconverter.exe and you should get that

I was one of the first guys who informed about the release of the v30 software....but after 3-4 days of continuous trying, i m not able to update my fone due to the Fother Mucking service provider that i m using. "LOOP mobile". After every 30 secs, i get a message "Connection lost. Try again and the update will continue" And after hours of trying, when about 70% of update is downloaded there is an error and the update restarts. What a $tup!d network provider.
I feel terrible as i dont have a Wifi connection nereby.

I would definetly choose that one, and I am a mobilephone salesman. If you're looking for the ultimate phone, I would choose Samsung i8910, the Samsung Omnia HD. The bst phone, without doubt. Good luck!

I have this phone. The only problem with it is that it gets stuck many times after a moth or 2.

This phone is garbage. We went on holidays and it wiped out blocks of photos of its own accord. The camera is truly lousy at night and the operating system is cumbersome and tiring. The memory setting for contacts is awful and it keeps freezing up when using the internet. Stay away do not buy just because you like free music.

In Nepal market, I feel and hear that Nokia 5800 is worse giving result in all features..no one users are satisfied and have lots of complain...Can anyone says is it realy happnening other country users too, if not what could be problem in Nepal marketed 5800?

I bought one in Shanghai but all models in China has no WLAN capability due to China government law.
So, it's not good to buy the unit in China intended for local market. However, it works very well and the sound esp. using the earphone that goes with it is excellent.
