i am writing this with the cell qwerty keyboard.this cell is amazing.there is no difficulty in writing .the music is excellent ,the camera is above average,video recording is great,touch screen is great.the gps is also great .great value for money.pls dont buy any other n series phone.buy it you wont regret it.

I normally access the internet via 02 Active in the UK but I sometimes get "No packet data connection" showing and access is denied. Anyone suggest a remedy?

But i would advice u to also format ur memory card coz ur issue seems more like a memory card related issue. First take all the backup of images/music etc on ur pc.
Also check the version of ur fone. Press *#0000#. If it is v11 or v20 then update it.

Wait for the 5530. Im a 5800 user and absolutely love my fone. But 5530 is a better option for the following reasons:
1. Cheap
2. good looks
3. faster Processor
4. better ui (with kinetic scrolling at some places and better home screen)
Adv. over star and cookie:
1. Comes with 4gb card
2. better os with superb multitasking capabilities
3. superb screen with 360x640 resolution
4. good camera with autofocus
5. Tv-out
6 Better music capabilities with 3.5mm jack.

Hi I need help!
I noticed lately that my screen goes all pixelated when I wake up in the morning. And when the phone 'heats' up again the screen corrects itself and is fine for the rest of the day. But it happens every morning and when the phone. I really think its the cold... But... why??? Its winter so yeah...
Anyway i tried removing the battery and restarting but no luck. Should I take it to Nokia care?

I bought this unit as gift without even check the mobile out after a while I went to the market and check the display unit & I wasn’t happy at all… the reason that made me buy it in the first place is what I heard about it that it’s the 1st touch screen by NOKIA and all the features WiFi, GPS & others but when I saw it physically it was something else… I think the OS & the user interface is really old especially for touch screen mobile and if it’s the 1st NOKIA should offers something new to the customers… the salesman told me that this mobile is nothing due to the model name X5800 is for music or media but according to him that the next best thing is the N97
I haven’t seen N97 but the salesman confirm that N97 has the same OS as the 5800… so pointless

my few needs for a phone is b... moreHi! I have been in the same dillema for quite some time. I want a good touchscreen phone with good features, good value for my money and can basically replace my iPod 5th Gen.
My choices were (at first anyways):
Samsung F480
Samsung S8000
Samsung S8300
Samsung Star
LG Cookie
Nokia 5800XM
I eliminated the Cookie and Star first, because even if they are priced cheaply, I don't think they can function as I want em too. + ive heard a lot of nasty stuff about these two.
I eliminated the S8300, F480 because of software lags and battery issued that Ive read. Battery Life is very important to me.
Im down with two, 5800 and S8000. I loved the S8000 due to its 5MP shooter, Advanced R touch and the 800Mhz CPU. But its battery life again, cannot take the abuse I want to put it trough. T_T
And It was down to the 5800 XM, Honestly? At first, this was on the bottom part of my list. I didnt like it that much, but the BATTERY LIFE (according to some, im tryng to test at this moment) is so awesome that ive just have to have it.
So if you want a superb battery life, touchscreen, nice features, good enough camera, and lastly VALUE for your money? Then I suggest you get the 5800XM.

my few needs for a phone is battery life,call clarity, good touch screen, value for money, good camera output, internet when using GPRS and less bugs.
thr is no mandatory for 3G, GPS & Wifi. Price is also a factor for choosing. I can afford the price of 5800 XM. I like the price of Samsung Star and LG Cookie.
Can i wait for 5530 XM?
apart from these 4, plz suggest if any other........

Anywho... I just checked it and yeah they almost have the same battery life.
So there you go, The 5800, with the same price, does almost anything and iPod touch does... with the added value of a phone.
Oh yeah, the iPhone also does this... but 5800 do it, with HALF the price. ^_^
Im taking my new 5800 trough its phases and so far? It's yet to dissapoint. =P

I think the the actual usage between the Ipod Touch and the Nokia 5800 is that when u hook on the Ipod touch and drive a scooter and then ur mobile rings. Obviously u have to remove ur Ipod and answer ur phone. Now that u hear the music in ur 5800 and the mobile rings u answer it and after the call continue to hear the music without stopping ur scooter...and both have the same battery life...so thats y i went for the Nokia 5800...
