However, if you have not experienced the music quality and loudness of Nokia 6233 (with stereo speakers)(discountinued in 2010). It is damn good & amazing. Frankly, It beats my INR 1200 worth PC speakers. I am speaking abt it's built in dual loud speakers. But doesnt have 3.5" music jack. I still have that phone (more than 4 years now) and planning to keep it dedicated only for music and to get another basic phone for normal use. So far I have never seen such a good louspeaker phone by any brand.

Hi. Somebody pls tell me HOW TO TURN OFF THE SHUTTER BUTTON SOUND (click sound) WHEN CLICKING A PHOTO. Its irritating & cant be used in the office. the sound is embarrasing & catches everyone's attention.

below is an instruction that may help you.... i've found it in this forum which dated on 23rd march 2011.
there are same instruction posted in year 2010 in this forum too..just go n search in from july 2010 onwards.
OKAY... THIS HOW U SHOULD DO IT
1) Press red button,green button and camera button alltogether
2 ) NOW with all the three pressed NOW press the ON BUTTON... AND WAIT FOR THE USUAL NOKIA SCREEN TO APPEAR ( the picture which show the two hands )...
then you should be able to key in your code.
maybe all the previous messages,tel no etc will be lost if you dont do any back up before that updating...
before any updating pls make sure you battery is full or being connected to your charger
you need to use both hands to do the above procedure..

just do a hard reset.
Settings>phone>phone managemet>factory settings.
Or
in the idle screen press *#7370#.It will prompt you to a dialogue box.Press yes.
Or
switch off your 5800.Press red button,green button and camera button alltogether and switch on the phone by keeping those buttons pressed.
Before these all dont forget to backup your data first.Cheers

b)Your internet connection has a speed of more than 100kbp/second(prefer broad band connection)

Please i need assistance here, i have a 5800 xpressmusic and i try to upgrade after reading one of your write ups. I can't actually remember the previous version but i was trying to upgrade to the latest version, the version that will give something close to Symbian 3 experience on the phone. The upgrade got stuck at where i was suppose to enter my pin for the phone to restart. since then, I've not being able to use the phone. Can't enter the pin code, as there are some white lines or bars running across the screen. Pls what can i do?

This is a very good phone indeed.
It started the smartphone fever.
Even though symbian is dead this phone is still holds it's ground for it's the best audio quality and various features for very less price.
I love this phone exclusively for its ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT MUSIC quality. believe me i am a quality music listener and have tested so many phones. even i owned a sony ericsson for music. but this mobile is the best till date as far as the music is concerned. If you have anything that beats this music quality please let me know.
camera quality is not good. but the video quality is damn good. flash is not enough. you keep getting the memory full error too.
map voice navigation helps you a lot. and is very handy. It's 3g speed and 2.5 g speed is very good. and the screen quality is really good.
I would have liked to have predictive text in sms input(like in android) plus a decent camera (photo) and music controls outside when the screen is locked, plus customisable home screens plus adobe reader and divx support.
however i am very happy with this phone for what it delivers.
3 best things are music, navigation and internet speeds.
