Guys the first thing you need to do when you just get you hands on the 5800 is to see if the phone is updated to the lastest firmware update, because the firmware upadate fix a lot of bugs that have been discover on the phone.

hey guys,im from mongolia.i used this phone since march.i bought it by 409.58USD wich is 590000 in mongolian tugrik.it's very nice and young minded phone.camera sucks in indoor.i havent found a great themes for this phone.
i have a problem with accelerometer.sometimes it doesnt go to the landscape mode.only solution for me is to turn off the phone,disassemble the battery for a while and then to turn on.does anyone got a same problem with me?does firmware v21 and up are available in mongolia?

heeeey everybody....it is really fantastic phoneee... I am using it right now :)....but plz any one know is there is a flash player for it? I searched in adobe flash player but didn't find any thing :(,,,,so plz any one help me in this prob. Thanks alooot

both k800 and k810 rule in the 3 mega pixels race with no doubt.
i thin u are happy with ur phone that u think it is better than the HTC or any other brand

hey users,i used 5800 for abt 4months n was fully satisfied,bt then suddenly,it hanged,i got it done bt soon sold it for sumthng better,then a friend using an iphone insisted me to buy 1,n i got an iphone.it Was awsome till i realised that it did not have enough sound through speakers...d only n d biggest drawback in it,so i m luking forward to give away my iphone for a BETTER 5800(better for sound)

Hello!!!
Im from Phillipines, im using this color black 5800XM for 1 mon. when i buy it, the firmware was v.11xxx then i upgrade it to v.21. the phone was pre loaded with some videos and the format was a dcf file. It was able to play the file in v.11xxx but when i upgraded it to v.21xxx the file cant play anymore, does anyone know how to play it again!?
Well the camera was not good in indoor the display has turning into some color green with lines the quality picture was poor, but good in outdoor!!!...
It also has some bug when im browsing the net. The letters display in upper left was not displaying correctly in portrait mode while using, even the phone search application!
My first XM phone was 3250XM, and when i compare the sounds, my 3250XM beats my 5800XM even the sound quality was good, but the 3250XM is much good, better and louder than 5800XM,
But i like the way i used the touch screen it so amazing. The full qwerty, hand writing, mini qwerty is just good.

when you input the caple into your phone do choose the TV out put option on your phone/

the problem is whenever i call a no# the screen goes black but the phone keep works and the same happen when an incoming call comes so im very much confused that how i can solve this problem and im not familier with all this mobiles problems so pls guys help me out in this case GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Got it in April, it has mind blowing features. The camera, especially, indoor shots is below average. I expected more from this Carl Zeiss 3.2 MP camera. Out doors in good light it's OK. The dual flash also doesn't aid it much in indoor pics always lack clarity and have lots of grains. The internet browser is good. the video player clarity is good. Have downloaded atleast 116 music videos from You Tube. The speakers pack quiet a punch. The headsets good. It has wifi and my phone co has launched a pocket internet unlimited for some INR 98 valid for 1month. I have downloaded many photo's and when I want to "show off" I use the TV out feature and run a slideshow. Touchscreen is cool but accelerometer is slow to react and zoom function doesn't work as smoothly as expected.
Pros: features, touchscreen, 3G, internet, musicplayer and fantastic speakers and cost very reasonable.
Cons: LOUSY CAMERA. Acclerometer slow to react.The screen zoom function doesn't work soo well. Hangs sometimes: to be expected in a phone with too many features.
