Please updrage the Maps and Firmware. It might help. Go to nokia site for the same. The new Version is 21.something

Worst nokia phone ever! It looks cheap, it feels cheap, its perfermance is barely average. Having had it as a replacement for a lost Nokia I had, it became a headache to transfer my contacts, pictures and files across through PC Suite, the maps program didn't work, and there is no help anywhere on the internet for it. Not to mention it broke after I left it charging overnight. I hate to say it, but you're better off getting an iPhone.

why when i type i cant move backward to correct text, i have to delete everything i've already typed until i reach the point where the text needs correction. Also, how can i select and copy text with this phone?

The macro shots of the dog and the yellow flower are very good :)
Download the fullscreen version for better viewing.
For better results at night, just use Night Scene Mode.
Note: v21 firmware has a lot better image quality than older firmwares.
Scene modes and manual modes (with low ISO) are better than Automatic mode.
For 3.2Mp and such a small sensor and lens, the camera is very good!
After 4 months of use, my opinion is that the Nokia 5800 is the BEST phone at the moment for the features/performance/price ratio.

Hi does anyone have website for free 5800 games and app downloads. I know of mobicreed and getjar, anymore sites?
Nokia 5800 is fairly good allround. Only concern is the camera quality when taking pictures at night. Although the video is quite good. I give thumbs up for this fone. (have it for 2 days and its the best).

Hi..all, Camera quality in low light is really bad. could anyone tell me if any solution is available.
I am using this phone for 2 months now and found it wonderful. You'll really enjoy the big and clear large display. Camera is the only concern.

i do like this phone tho i noticed the 5800 that have software problem are mostly vodafone,or the meteor network,i have noticed very little problems on 02.i think every network puts their own software on their own phones.im on 02 have no problems its a good phone only the camera could have better quality!!!

Hi does anyone have mxit on this fone?can u write fast considering its a touch screen ,also would sending smses?...
and
while driving is it easy to make a call?...

I have this phone for two months now, and I'm quite satisfied with it.
But, for the time being, this phone is far from iPhone. Mostly, because the support is not as good and open as with apple. Namely, if you're looking at OVI or other Nokia sites, the number of applications, games and other software cannot cope with the Apple. Even though there is a lot of s**t available for iPhone - but at least it's there.
Other then that, the performance of this phone is very solid.

Syncronizes, 02 Jul 2009hey guys. i got this phone for 2 days.. this phone is rock.. i love it.. :) but i found m... moreHi, if you have not solve the problem about Opera-mini to uninstall and fresh install again, then you should have take out your memory-card and put in to PC, then use explorer to find the folder E:\Private\102033E6\MIDlets\[101d85f0] and delete it, then put in to your phone and install, this should work for sure!
