updating directly from your fone is very simple.
type *#0000#, then go to Options>check for updates....
should not take more than 20mins and most importantly all your installed apps and fone data will be unaffected. Cheers to nokia on this achievement. But data charges apply.
u can also update via fone updater in your pc but that is a rather lengthy process and ur fone data will be erased.

Tony, 29 Jun 2009Nokia 5800 has got full flash support so you can watch youtube videos directly on integrated b... more it really helps me a lot in deciding and i think i would likely to buy 5800.
actually at first im choosing between nokia 5800 and lg arena but i read from some reviews that the you ant watch youtube videos thru wifi using the lg arena. that's why i want to make sure that i can using the nokia 5800. thank you so much for your help.

The Nokia 5800 is a very nice phone. It is very fast in terms of data retrieval and information processing. The only problem that I've with this phone is an unclear screen which displays some dotted pixels more especially if u can use the touch screen for a long time.

Cos if not, then get the 5800!!
This phone is great specially that nokia is planning to release another update for the phone next month (v31.0.0.15)..
But the decision is still yours..

hi guys! after reading all the comments here, it convinced me to buy this fone! =) but I'm quite concern that if I buy this phone, a new touch fone will come out! huhuhu! so do you think it will be worth it to buy this 5800? I really want to have a touch screen phone ='( please help!

i just bought this nokia 5800 2weeks back and honestly i like it and i think ... morethe "Message memory full" issue is a bug. I had it when i transfered my messages from my 6233 to my 5800 using PC Suite.
you will have to erase all the messages(or give a hard reset) then update your fone to v21.
