I buy this fone cause I believe N**** will make it good. It has disappoint camera, scrap body and finally "hang" two or three times a day.
Where is my good old N****???
This Nokia mobile is the greatest one in terms of price and features, you'll be delighted having this not so ordinary phone!
Note: Just make sure you update the software version once you buy it to enjoy it full 100 percent.
Love the phone but have had to change it twice as the video faulty when wanting to watch it. Says the video playing but screen blank and no sound! Rest of phone great. Not sure if I should try out again-3rd time lucky!!
Love the back up - all info and easy to restore when needed - been useful with the faulty phones!
I have bought this phone, and am LOVING IT!!!....I absolutely love the Touch UI that Nokia has made, and it definitely beats most touch screen phones out there...
The software is amazing, and I have already found programs for running winrar, divx/avi players, plenty of games, and dont know if I'll ever leave Nokia again. I am looking to give this phone as a present to my dad, and upgrade to the N97 once it comes out

Mirza, 18 May 2009hy,friends! i would lile to buy this great phone...but..lots of this phone in croatia come wit... moreI started having blurred screen after the update....can`t see any thing when call is coming in.
I do not think u get a bad phone, I think your phones life depends on how you handel it. If you trow it allot it will brake easy. But tell me straightforward would anyone recommended this phone.
Do not forget upcoming n97 wich will have the lot..If you have the money to buy this if you carry on saving by the time its been out a few months you will be able to buy..Because its n-series you get the lot and 32GB of built in memory and fold away keyboard,,better cam,,procceccsor bigger,,
pradeep, 18 May 2009plz dont go for this mobile...i bought it b4 3 months..now my 5800 is like a dead phone...lot ... morehad it since april 1st,,cam good outside but not good inside quite noisy..Using 16gb card with only 6gb left..I ran on v11 software till last week when v21 was ready for my 5800..I have not had one crash or any screen problems but it does take a while to adapt to the touchscreen series 60,,well it did for me..As for apps they are becoming nore available week by week for touch series 60..I find it a good product and their are maybe 2 more updates to come..
Points to note ,,java apps if they work at all have an on screen d-pad ,,all old themes wont work,,old wallpapers will become stretched,,avi will not play yet but solution is on way,,bbci-player on my unit works fine but you need to use wi-fi "uk only"..
I see nothing different from n-series except lack of quick office and adobe but adobe is now free download..its got bigger screen making video and web better experiance and games that come with it use accelerometer so you steer with the tilting of fone..
One more question
After I updated my phn with v21 , i m nt able 2 play music files that were already in d phn whn i purchased it. what seems to be the prblm and is there a solution????
I guess my previous post got deleted.
Please can someone please answer my question, on enabling the screen lock code.
How can i activate the lock code.
I have this phone for like a week now and i would like to share some facts here, specially with those who are planning to by it
Note that i am on the V20 firmware, because i think it is not wise to just update the firmware after buying the device. I am not going to go into detail of that.
It's a great phone, nice and handy
Display is very clear but under direct sun light it is almost impossible to view
Display Resolution is VGA good for web browsing & watching media
Poor indoor immage capture quality, very noisy. My old N73 used to capture much better images with the same 3.2MP
Macro/Close Up mode is just OK
Video capture is nice. There is an indoor mode which reduces the noise. There is a video light feature which is kind of useless unless you want to capture in a complete dark room. Overall it is very good.
If you are into playing games on your phone, i just have 3 words for you
Dont Buy It..and Wait for N97
Overall processing speed is good for the applications. Fast startup even with many 3rd part apps insalled. 128 RAM is around 50MB free after a boot. It is nice for a symbian phone to have 50MB ram free. N958GB also has the same RAM but 5800XM is much faster. The new OS uses the RAM effeciently
I advice all of you to install a Task Management 3rd party app for better ram management.
Web browsing is good. Youtube works well. Scrolling is a bit sluggish on a heavy page with losts of flash animations but it does well overall
Standard pages like Yahoo Desktop version gives you a feel like you are on a PC.
There is no Kinetic Scrolling like the iphone & HTC
n97 is going to fill that gap
