The speakers on this phone are not so good.
If you use a screen reader like Talkback, there is a bug on this phone, which is,
When-ever you increase the media volume using the volume keys, the accessibility volume also increases/decreases and vice versa.
Camera on this phone is okayish.
Battery backup is fair.
software updates are good.
Performance is fair

Further G9 doesn't have compass which is present in Nokia 5.3...
Talking about processor, of course 665 is better than 662...
Of course I m in favour of G8 but not with G9....
Unfortunately G8 is not available right now...

Guys should i purchase it and dont update it. will it be good to go. I have confusion between nokia 5.3 and realme 5i. 5i have good battery, performance and all sensors. Nokia lack sensors, battery is small, finger printer scanner slow and it comes with stock android (good) but from reviews i have seen its android is not optimized for best performance. Even though if i dont update realme 5i its software is still better than stock due to its oppo ui features.
Also i am a long term user of mobile usually change after few years.

New phone, turn on follow the prompts and it insists on updating but just hangs on an updating screen for many, many hours, about 1.5GB, it might get half way and then starts again. I think I'll send it back.

i eat poo, 14 Sep 2020They don't use their own UI, it's googles UI that is called Android ONE It means....Nokia uses the stock Android ui. And android one is not a ui, it's a program. Which includes multiple devices from multiple brands

Suresh, 15 Sep 2020how does it stand infront of MiA3 ?If you can get your hand on one, it might be better in some aspects but very similar. Also I don't think you get the same promise of software support. So would not recommend it.

I've tried so hard to find a phone similar price but better specs. Can't, it's just not possible where I live. The only phone that comes close is the moto g8 power, at it cost a bit more. Still pretty much the same phone. If they drop this phones price like in Finland. This will sell so fast i think. Also to put it in perspective against the competition. Find this on sale like I did and you won't regret it. Samsung phones in similar price range has such weak and wierd processors.

This is a great budget phone, it has everything you need. I found it slow in the beginning and gaming was a nightmare. But I don't know what happened but both gaming and system runs alot smoother now. Maybe it needed time to adjust haha, either way been using this for a few weeks and I'm happy with it.
What I think about the phone.
Batterylife last a day and long time during gaming. Could charge faster but it's ok.
Screen is pretty good, watching alot of video and media
Sound is loud and clear, not always the best and is easy to block.
Camera is a mix, you need good light and it comes out great, otherwise it has a hard time keeping up.
Fingerprint scanner is slow and not so good, I don't use it but it's there.
Multitasking is ok, I have the 3GB version but would recommend getting more if you have the money.
Call quality is good, crisp and clear. 4G, wifi and Bluetooth all stable and fast for me. Haven't experienced any trouble there.
Seems snappy and reliable in everyday use.
Software comes fast. Or faster then most.
Yeah think that covers most parts of what I've used it for. Hope it helps people.
