Anonymous, 12 Jul 2020This phone can't survive the competition in india. Samsung and mi are better in every aspectthere are also other countries except India in world ok ?
It would be good phone if the pricing is right. But I've had charging issues on my previous nokia 6.1 plus and i got really ugly. So I can't trust another one from nokia. May be i will get a moto :)
Anonymous, 12 Jul 2020Don't comment about amoled. Bots will come raining down on you. At least it seems so. Haha, true true.

The cpu already makes a big difference, the support also, so that samsung is not the defice to be put against this one, as this one, offers better everything.

Anonymous, 10 Jul 2020But it is mentioned in the specs that 5.3 supports 1, 3, 5, 8, 40, 41 - IndiaNokia 5.3 supports Dual sim voLTE. It's sd 665.
Even the older sd 632, 636 supports volte.
Anyone denying this is nokia hater.
This phone will compete directly with Samsung M11. The only noticeable difference between the two is the processor (665 vs 450). Samsung offers bigger battery and fast charging while this phone offers an additional camera.
In India will sell well if prices in the 12000 - 13000 INR range. Anything more and it doesn't stand a chance as people will opt for M21 that provides Amoled.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2020looking to update from a moto e5 play to something with newer, with more storage and between 1... moreI cannot tell you to much about it, as i don't owe it. But is better then 4.2 in every way that much i can tell you.
Very poor quality. Feels like a 2 year old phone. Not expected from nokia.
Carol, 08 Jul 2020Yeah, i read about that, a week ago i went to the store to check new stff, their was Nokia 5.3... moreIf you get hands on the 5.3 please compare its display colour with other better display.
Compare first with neutral then with little warm setting.
If you can, take and share pictures of both comparisons.
Asking cuz im not able to get hands on 5.3
looking to update from a moto e5 play to something with newer, with more storage and between 150-200 bucks. i prefer better-known brands, with stock or almost stock android, hence why i am looking at nokias running android one, rather than samsung or xiaomi, who have modified the os. i have also been considering a few motorola phones, such as the g8 power lite and the g7 power. however, after some research, i found out that these handsets have not yet received android 10. i prefer an up-to-date version of android, and android one pretty much guarantees that the os will recieve updates for a few years. this phone seems like the best bang for the buck, but i was wondering if anyone had actually been using it for long enough to tell me if it's a good buy and worth the money or if i'm better off getting the slightly cheaper nokia 4.2.
Aca, 07 Jul 2020How to change icon style and color? Where is that option on dw mode? You mean when developer options is activated? You need to scroll down to the end and change "accent color".

Yes of course emmc is slower, the question is tough, would an ufs make a worthy difference in this device, or other devices that use SD665. Maybe would do, but maybe would be a very small let's say, millisecond one, something that would not be price worthy. I don't know, i used flagships with UFS and emmc and i really saw little difference. In the pc world ssd against hdd make a whole lot of difference, but here we are talking about same tech just different arkitekture to make them respond faster.

Colors have a heavy blue shift.
But there is an option in android 10 to adjust the color temperature (warm/cold). On neutral it is bad.
emmc 5.1 is slower but ok for cost cutting.
Other than this everything looks fine.
I dont mind 720p screen (which means less power consumption-more for productivity)
I dont mind no QC or PD ( I always use 5V1A charger so the battery life will last longer- tested with my daily phone sony xz1 compact still 96% battery health even after almost 3 years of usage)
but why is this phone still use emmc???
is emmc 5.1 is superior to ufs?
and why is it still use bluetooth 4.2?? its a snapdragon 665,,,
at this point I am wondering does this phone even use at least LPDDR4X for its RAM?
IMO a phone that release at april 2020 with price tag of $200. We the consumer should get way better specs, i guess??
