Dont ever buy from Kogan they are crap. He tries to dump a chinese version of the Nokia 6 which he states is a global version made for Australia well its not . It hasn't got NFC it doesn't have a $ sign in the sub folder and I beieve it wont do all upgrades
I have TA-1021 Model and updated it to oreo.
Fortunately after update there is no issue like battery, even Settings Menu & Notification Bar are really improved and now easier to work.
According to some opinions Oreo also improves Camera performance.
I updated my Nokia 6 (2017) to Android Oreo 8.0.0!
But after the update, something happened.
The battery drops very quickly. Is anyone else having the same issue???
I repeat again, with Android Nougat 7.1.2 this thing never happens. The battery life, with normal use it was over 48 hours.
I bought Nokia 6 ta 1003 in may 2017 and after that hmd introduce global version. I was really disappointed that I bought a useless version and then came Nokia 8 which is a lifetime standard although I got updates every month. Now I am really happy because I got android 8.0 and my phone really works smooth and they took care of low light camera efficiency so now I think I made a right choice and satisfied.
JimLim, 05 Feb 2018Nokia phones are also pre-installed with non-core, non-essential, and unnecessary Google apps ... moreI think maybe because those apps are from google and android software is made by google so any phones that runs on android have them. :)
I just bought this phone last dec31,2016. It was on sale so I bought it. At first I was hesitant because all reviews I read about this phone saying it's so-so. But my friends convinced me to buy this phone instead. I have to say, this phone is AWESOME!! I have received tons of updates since I bought the phone. Just this morning, I received an android 8 oreo update. Wohooo!! Camera's fine, but you can edit the photos to your liking. Speaker's sound is loud enough and well-balanced. Not much of a gamer. I just have 2 games installed to kill time. Fast enough for an average person like me. Screen is amazing. Phone looks sleek and expensive (but not really, I bought this for a cheap price). No regrets. This phone is perfect for me. :)
Ben Turbin, 07 Feb 2018How come this is not number one in second table on front page of gsmarena? it has 1587 likes .It is not a flagship, only flagship or hi end phones are in that list. It is the only explanation I have.

Nokia is one of the best phone I ever used, just the way they did Nokia 7 it will be more preferable if they do a music phone like Nokia n91 in android platform

Kdbebj, 05 Feb 2018Iam using Using my Nokia 6 since 4 months after updating to Android oreo Iam facing some netw... moreYeah, the same issue happened in my phone when i upgraded the OS on February 6th. I restarted it, yet nothing changed. But then I kept it overnight and restarted it the next day morning and it started working very well. All was fine. May be there were some functions processing for some time even though it wasn't displayed on screen. Sometimes it doesn't change with restarting so how about you try Switching off the phone and switching it back on again. It worked in mine that way... Hope it will work on yours too :)
Is anyone facing a problem with the play store ? I have an error message (error 404) when I try to update or download apps !!

Nokia phones are also pre-installed with non-core, non-essential, and unnecessary Google apps - Play Books, Play Games, Play Movie, Play News, Play Music, Photos, Drive, Duo, etc - thus they became bloatwares to me.
Such unwanted apps can be disabled but not uninstalled, they take up storage space. These apps are available at Play Store, they can be chosen at will or by choice and download anytime.
Why must HMD Global put these "unsightly apps" into Nokia phones?
