iLoveEeEe, 14 Feb 2017Very disappointing from Nokia, please show us something that are comparable with Apple. What apple feature ahead of this?
No Zeiss, no PureView technology, 2 of the things that made Nokia great... pity! I'll skip thanks, just another Android clone amongst hundreds of others.... nothing to make it special.
Very disappointing from Nokia, please show us something that are comparable with Apple.
According to a recent Nokia news article on this website, European price will be €249.
Dude for the specs of this phone are like the same as the Asus Zenfone 3 Laser and the Nokia costs $800 unlocked and the Asus costs $200 unlocked. Wow.
SB, 13 Feb 2017is flow battery possible at mobile phone level....don't think so....!!Hi
"ENIAC" It weighed more than 30 short tons (27 t), was roughly 2.4m × 0.9m × 30m (8 × 3 × 100 feet) in size, occupied 167m2 (1800 ft2) and consumed 150 kW of electricity.
what you think about your PC / your laptop / your notebook even your Smartphone! Everything is possible no any doubt about technology progressing!
It's my wish that one day I see flow battery technology inside smartphone body, especially in Nokia's smartphone! Of course with too many improvement also reduce total size :) it's possible %100 if you don't believe that once again look at the ENIAC!
abhi..., 13 Feb 2017When it will be available in india ?
and how much prize ?Hi
"So as mentioned earlier nokia 6 is going to be release in China, which means it isnÂ’t available to buy worldwide. They havenÂ’t even conducted nokia 6 launch in India. So we must wait the minimum of 1-2 months to get nokia 6 release date in India. But there is some expected nokia 6 release date in India, but we arenÂ’t sure they are real or not."
"The phone is priced at Yuan 1,699 (approx Rs 16,800) and is only available in China at the moment. When the phone will be making its global debut, is yet unclear. The phoneÂ’s manufacturer, HMD Global has said in the past that India is an important market for the brand. So, it is possible that we might be seeing the phone coming to India sometime soon in the future."
Outcome: if we have any chance for Worldwide releasing for Nokia 6 hopefully: about 1 or 2 Mount --> must waiting for Nokia 6
RPK, 09 Feb 2017A phone above 4" cannot be called a "CELL " phone . Because the word itself means "small unit"... more"CELL" phones derived its meaning from the early cellular mobile transmission-reception system. Cell does not literally mean small although a single cell may be microscopic !
I see everywhere a lot of worries about battery lifetime! I think with daily usual usage 3000mAh is enough
I hope one day at time Nokia does use Flow batteries technology in future! Only two pros:
1. Much much long lifetime
2. Eco friendly
The long awaited beast is raising! Go Nokia make raise! Go beat all smartphone..superfast snapdragon need superfast internet, octa core 1.4 a-53 is good in a medium speed internet here in Philippines. And ofcourse the signature durarability of Nokia. That's why i'll wait U Nokia 6..don't takes too long..
Marko, 12 Feb 2017You mean here maps... Nokia Maps, changed name to HERE and it is available on android since a ... morei am using Here Maps for a long time in Android, those are the best
Offline Navigation is the best feature
Nokia/Hmd marketing campaign should combine their
vision for the future (for smartphones & feature phones) with nostalgia...
Don't forget that almost everyone have used at least one Nokia phone
One good suggestion for Gsmarena would be a dedicated article for both Nokia & Blackberry.
They should write about the similarities of the two corporations.
One common element for example is that both they haven't chosen Android at the first time. But nowdays they are both back with android!
Another similarity is that Nokia & Blackberry are not exactly the same corporations as they used to be.I don't want to be misunderstood. The upcoming phones are definitely Nokia & Blackberry phones but because of new licensing agreements(Nokia with HMD-FIH)&(Blackberry with TLC) their new phones ''will come through a different way''.
Moreover Nokia & Blackberry are exceptions because both corporations still uses physical keyboard in a smartphone age.( Blackberry uses physical Qwerty keyboard for many smartphones while Nokia uses physical keypad for feature phones)...
It will be very interesting to see both these legendary brands in MWC...
