S . SUDHAKAR, 19 Jan 2017Yuck. Again the sucking IPS LCD display instead of Super AMOLED. I think Nokia HMD will flop again.hmm.. you're right.. but IPS LCD display doesn't make screen not better than sAMOLED.
super Amoled is a new technology display with many advantages, but the screen burn on the same position is the problem, cause Amoled doesn't need backlight anymore, it's directly on every pixel of the display.

i already checked some camera comparisons out there, and my post was based on that
you can also check out
Nokia 6 Vs Iphone 7+ :
Nokia 6 Vs Samsung S7 Edge :
my post were based on these.
And i said "sometimes outperform" (not always) so don't generalize it.
But there problems with stabilisation(no OIS) otherwise it goes neck to neck

I played Asphalt 8 on M8 and didn't notice any performance drop in multiplayer. Max setting with avg 30-40fps. Shame on better chipset but worse optimalization. Too bad the game on X2 can't be played online. But still minimum requirement of Asphalt 8 on lowest graphic is 1GB RAM and dual-core 1 GHz CPU. I can't believe X2 can pull max setting with minimum requirement- must be some serious programming black magic!
But I don't think Nokia 6 uses CM14- more like CM-alike UI. Or can you send me the source?
chidogo, 28 Jan 2017excessive late my brother, they had already bungled their chance of retaining their leadership ... moreyeah true Loved I used nokia symbian phones a lot.
But i don't think they will go for a new OS so soon. Right now the world knows only two major SmartPhone OS : iOS & Android
Nokia will first try to capture it's lost Market, that is it will try to increase it user base first, which is possible only via Android.
What i believe is , Once they regain their popularity, and get enough money slipping in, then they will do some R&D on a new design(my theory) !! Not sure though.
but it will be a lot better if they bring something new, with a better feel.
YashMehta2, 29 Jan 2017does the newly launched Nokia 6 have an inbuilt automatic call recorder and a notificifaction led?Wait for Global release, currently reviews of Nokia 6 available are mostly in Chinese language and it uses a version of Cyanogen Mod.
I don't think the global version will be based on Cyanogen so we can't say anything now.
tonymancs, 28 Jan 2017Asphalt 8 at max setting with 1 GB RAM and SD 200? You don't lie, do you?Yeah it ran at Max, but only games Downloaded from Nokia store worked in X2.
Any app or game requiring Google Play services won't run in that, that is if even i sideload Asphalt 8 using Apk(google play version) it won't run showing an error of Google Frameworks missing.
Uploading anything in Nokia store(for Nokia X platform) required removal of certain Google Api's
maybe that is the reason that X2 could run that at Extreme(offline), never checked it online neither played MultiPLayer coz. back then I didn't have Wifi connection / 3g Data Pack.
But in Offline even in Extreme it Played it pretty well, it was not that smooth But it never lagged which was the main point.
Unfortunately my X2 got stolen and after that I am stuck with Redmi, since then I am waiting badly for Nokia(more than a Year)
To much expensive 18k here in the Philippines but the features is not that good
Joy-808, 28 Jan 2017In daylight it's camera nearly reaches(and sometimes out performs) Iphone-7+ & S7 Edge.

They have to invent a new software compare to android.I love💘 Nokia, and I will be glad to se Nokia back as leading mobile making company. But in this way this could not possible. They have to try different.
tonymancs, 28 Jan 2017Symbian is dead mate. Not that it's abandoned by Elop but by that time it's way too outdated. ... moreYeah you're right.
I love Symbian so much because of its simplicity and excellent multitasking but it's long been dead.
I'm hoping that Nokia will adopt Sailfish OS in the future to diffentiate itself from the rest of the smartphone makers.
I believe that Android is already common. The market is already flooded with cheap and identical looking devices with Android in it. There is a 50/50 chance that Nokia can survive with Android alone.
Nokia should be different by experimenting something new like what they did with MeeGo in Nokia N9.
Go Nokia! The entire Southeast Asia loves you!
does the newly launched Nokia 6 have an inbuilt automatic call recorder and a notificifaction led?
Dear My God, thanks! because red's page changed to blue's page :((
Nokia, my life's sunset is very near please do it: Worldwide Releasing! Sooner! Seriously I wanna one Nokia's Smartphone for last time
< 3 You Nokia forever
I'am dearly paralyzed. Shocked. 1GB RAM and SD 200 running Asphalt 8 on max setting. I saw Youtube video. OMFG. I will throw away my HTC M8 when new Nokias gonna be here.LONG LIFE THE KING!
Symbian is dead mate. Not that it's abandoned by Elop but by that time it's way too outdated. Don't get me wrong- I love Symbian (Belle and S60 3rd edition fp2). Nokia 808 still runs extremely smoothly even today and I love it. But it supports less than 1GB RAM and single-core CPU only. As it is there was no space for improvements. Far better than start from scratch (Symbian 2) it's better to pick up Sailfish OS- Linux- based (the same with Android) developed by people who made MeeGo OS and has partial apps compactibility with Android.
noisymind, 28 Jan 2017This is great! but it's too late!!excessive late my brother, they had already bungled their chance of retaining their leadership and gianthood with android os in the smartphone industry. so sad, i love Nokia, and i was among those that swore to stay put in their sinking ship then, but when there was no hope at sight, i ain't got no choice than to evaporate. there were a lot of tested and trusted brand of android os'ed' smart phones out there now, so i guess it's over with me and Nokia android phone now. unless if they returns with upgraded symbian os, guess what ???. i may still come back, cos i love symbian os so much.and i've became kinda tired of android os. wanna experience something different.
