Great phone worth for money
And it has great built quality
Great screen quality
Great sound quality (Dolby Atmos certified)
Great camera quality
it has Snapdragon 430 but gaming performance is very good Nokia done a great job
Battery performance also very very good
It has all the sensors like gyro;compass etc
So Nokia 6 2017 model is better than Nokia 6.1
Because Nokia 6.1 is small in size when comparing to Nokia 6 2017
And Dolby Atmos surround is also not there in Nokia 6.1
Nokia 6.1 has two pros
1) Android 1 program
2) Snapdragon 630 processor
ADC777ER, 09 May 2018Does someone have a NFC problem with this phone? My Nokia 6 couldn't read my transit cardADC777ER, try to call President Trump. Yeah you will not success. So there certainly is something wrong with the dialer of your phone.

do a factory reset and things will be ok i ve had it as u and now it s working well after 8.1.0 update
Got this phone 6 months ago and it was good. Now battery drains so fast even when not in use. What might be the reason
This is the worst crap ive ever owned. Yeah, they took me on Nokia logo, yeah, marketing gods from China. But its not Nokia. Not even close. Its less than average quality china brick with NOKIA letters on its back.
SO, this masterpiece is 1 month old and what do we have :
1) Freezes (no side apps)
2) Touch screen works with freezes and delays after touches. Like im using the 1st wave of smartphones back in 2009 / 10
3) Sound dissapears. WTF? I have missed so many calls due to that.
4) Wifi drops off. Suddenly. Only reboot helps.
5) Gets too hot, just average useage. Calls / texts/ viber
Dont buy this crap. FCK YOU HMD GLOBAL! Seriously!
I love the phone. Comments to say that this is not a good phone are not well thought out. I have used this as a daily driver since it was released. Put it through the motions and it performs well. Build quality is good and I have not experienced all the other issues.
The only issue I have is that my calls drop occasionally, which I suspect is a software issue due to updates etc.. I am sure that will be rectified. All together a decent effort
AnonD-757080, 05 May 2018This is a good phone with good battery, but has several issues I am yet to come to terms with.... moreIf you don't want Google apps you can get some 3rd party apps from store. This is the minimal system any manufacturer can provide.
The next step would be getting rid of all the apps, so your phone will be bare-bones with just the os. If nuts does that, then people will complain that the phone has nothing and everything has to manually installed.
Alternative is Nokia developing all the apps, which is impossible for all the apps and the experience may be bad with bugs. Still one would think that they are sharing their data with Nokia and the like.
This is the best option as you are sharing data with just one entity Google.
Nokia Quality is low now!
I thing this is not nokia original phone
It is hmd !"
Zoom is duff!
AnonD-757106, 05 May 2018Thats not really an issue. You can download a gallery app from the playstore. I am personally ... moreIn fact it is far better to have a phone, such as the Nokia 6, with lean, clean, pure OS instead of a phone that is bloated with crapware, adware, totally useless Apps and in addition with manufacturers GUI "layer". Usually the pre-installed Apps can not be uninstalled so they only eat storage memory space. And the Manufacturers GUI usually only makes the "experience" way more difficult than it needs to be.
AnonD-757080, 05 May 2018It is really sad seeing there is no gallery. I didn't know I was buying a Google phone.Thats not really an issue. You can download a gallery app from the playstore. I am personally using the App, Gallery.
This is a good phone with good battery, but has several issues I am yet to come to terms with. The camera is poor with a backlight that is not white, and it makes the pictures dark, not revealing true colours. Everything on the phone is Google controlled. The contacts are not saved to the phone, but to email, which is good, but not for privacy. The photos are only viewed on Google photos. Music can only be played on Google Music only. I had to download VLC. No safe to conceal documents and phones. There is no photos gallery. One has to go to the Files Folder to view pictures. No notepad, but Google Keep, which does not store text. Everything about the phone is Google this, Google that. It is frustrating. I thought I was buying a Nokia 6, and not a Google phone.

Buk, 04 May 2018What is the best music player for Nokia 6Buk, I'm not sure how kindly the powers that be takes off topic discussions. Anyhow, I'll try.
What is "the best" app varies greatly, mainly from user to user (as there are no major device specific limitations/requirements with apps). For me "the best" app is such that does the job well __and__ does not require potentially dangerous permissions. That most often limits the selection into apps that are published as true/honest Freeware, Open Source, under GPL or such. For me this is purely a question of security, not at all about the price (I donate for such apps when that option is available). In case no such app are available then I prefer Payware over Adware (to the extent that I do not have any Adware apps installed) because the Adware apps are in my opinion the least secure (and Ads are very distracting).
I have the following players installed: DJD Player by Mikael Ståldal, and Musicolet Music Player by Krosbits and VLC for Android by Videolabs. They are all "the best" for me.
MikeN, 03 May 2018No gallery option? You mean to view your photos and videos? The Nokia 6 comes with the Google ... moreIndeed, and in general: The Nokia 6 has all the same software and all the same settings that phones sold under the brand name Google, for example. Note that the MO of the OP is rather characteristic, first some vague mumble and nonsensical "irritation" or "disappointment", and then the main payload is at the end of last sentence. A sad attempt of misinformation distribution or a mental retaliation strike.
It is interesting to see the impact of the Nokia 6 (as well as the whole Nokia line) on the superheated market where Google and all the other phone manufacturers a doing their best to persuade the users to buy a new very expensive phone after every 6 months. Now as the Nokia 6 (international version) has been on the market for the duration of nearly one year already, it still is more new phone than many of the competitors models that only feature Andoid OS v.7.1 or v.8.0. Nokia 6 has Andoid OS v.8.1.
