The Nokia 6030 has been the worst experiance I have had with cell phones. It is company issued so free to me. Using Cingulars network. I can not comment on the network for the phone is so poor I have trouble picking up calls. The menue is hard to navigate, you can not increase or decrease call volume while on a call. The open key pads does not always lock and the phone will place calls while in the pocket. Also if the key pads does not lock you will find multiple numbers in address book from keys being pressed by accident. I am junking this Nokia and trying another brand. I have had this 4 months and have missed 21 calls including my management and customers. Stay away from this model in the USA.

The best phone EVER !
Features:
* Beautiful and cheap
* Perfect loud speaker and 110% signal
* Battery lasts for 5-6 hours of talking.
* It's a nokia.
* It doesn't have crap features like camera or bluetooth that drains your battery
* Display is color, but it is NOT tft, and that's very good as it doesn't drain your battery.

I got to phone for free (from t-mobile)...
its great and stuff, has MsnMessenger,Aol,Yahoo,ICQ...
there is only 1 thing i hate about it..
you know some phones can connect to a computer via usb? this one does too, just that the cord is very hard to find. I think its called Usb Micro. T-mobile does not carry parts for it, now im thinking "no wonder it was a free phone"...
I also do not like the "rectangular box" shape, i would rather prefer something more slim... And the "select" button (the one in the middle of the circle) is kinda hard to push at times if you are trying not to push the arrows.

hi i am from India. I am using the same phone for the last one year. It is very durable and light weight. One problem is that it is like a big box, not so slim.

Hi all 6030 users, I just wanna seek your info on the messaging aspect of this phone. I'm planning to get a simple phone for call and sms. Does this phone support multi-messaging (not limited to 1 sms each time of typing)? Does this phone automatically store sent messages? Tell me more about the messaging feature, because I use sms a lot. Thanks!

Im from Tanzania, Iv just purchased this phone, I like it because we have just been provided with gprs services and the phone does very well on that.
Im not sure whether there is any sense in what I wrote.

PLZ help as ma fone 6030 says MIDI format ringtones aint supported. ive always been downloadin tones from pholyphonic ringtones, but today its just saying format not supported for anything that i download. what do i do? anyone??

i bought this model one month ago,its cute and very good for both fm and for gprs option.
my friend loganthan says he decided to buy nokia 2610 mobile for purpose of FM,i slapped him and said stupid why u try to miss nokia 6030 mobile which is cheap and best.
then he realised and decided to buy this mobile.
he was stupid previously and now he became intelligent after deciding to buy nokia 6030.

i bought this phone yesterday its a nice phone but i am from the bahamas and the radio doesnot work and it doesnt have a lot of ringtones but other than that its a good phone and it is very light

Pretty decent phone, not really any bells or whistles, but at this point I don't really care. My disapointment is no blue tooth or memory card slot. Very dependable phone, 8/10.

A nice budget fone ya. FM is working fine. Battery life is very good. Worth buying for the cost spent.
