i want 6030 mobile pc suit softwere download and i want to know about 6030 data cable
Hi i bought Nokia 6030 and had two problems one is the data cable and its prices and the other is that i cant play some of the polyphonic ring tones
I have a Nokia 6030 for 3 months now and I must say I'm satisfied. No problems with it so far. The only thing that worry's me is that I count not find a data cable.
It hasn't Infrared, it hasn't Bluetooth - I can live with that, but why the hell hasn't it any data cable to connect with computers? :(
I am not able to send and receive MMS via 6030.
Is there any issue with the MMS.?
My Phone operator Customer Service center representative said, this set 6030 have some issue in its software, either it can send or receive MMS, but my set neither sending nor receiving.
Rest all functions working fine including GPRS.
My Operator is UFone and i am from Karachi.
previously with my Nokia 3100, MMS was working fine.
Please let me know if some one facing similar issue.
Hi , I purchased 6030 after selling j200i( sony Ericson). I am much satisfied by performance and features. I must say nokia do not compromise on reliability and quality of set... but other companies do.
i just want to know that while making a call then is there any option to see that how much time have passed?
coz some operators charge as per minute so there must be something to see the time of call.
there is only call summary displayed at the end of call, which is not sufficient
plz tell me about this
this is very good handset but how i can connect 6030 with a PC
I have a question. I just bought a Nokia 6030, thought it was very sharp looking and love the small size. Sometimes I can't hear the person I'm talking too very well, it is like the volume needs turned up and vice versa....I am actually considering returning it if I can fix this problem. Any ideas??
its a nice small portable fone..wid smat luk..n d black colour is really awesm..actually mind blowing..
WOW , this baby accepts the old 5 Volt Vodafone WHITE SIM cards , Bonus , usually when I try the old 5 volt sim card in ANY NEW NOKIA it always displays SIM CARD REJECTED but not the 6030
i juz bought it last few weeks...
very nice batery life...

is this phone capable of playing mp3 tones? and how is the keypad? I really sms a lot. Something like 50 texts a day. Is the keypad soft enough for my fingers to type so much?
Hi,I like this fone very very much its small light weight and very loud ring tones ,Radio and cheap price i downloaded 35 games 50 tone and a loit of wallpapers i request to nokia please introduce 6030i with more memory and cam it will be unbeatable i hope nokia will think about my advise Thanks.
is the games working good on this phone?
does the ringtones sound good?
did any one know that where the ringtone converter software avaliable in internet coz i think 6030 only supports midi files :'(
i bought this phone last week. downloaded a bunch of java games. nice graphics, music and sound effects. i myself was wondering whether can data be transferred to the phone from PC. the phone is really cheap, but the GPRS rates are killing me.
I bought 6030 phone just because my friend pursuaded me. I think it is a blunt model with no support of infrared or bluetooth, which is an inevitable these days. Moreover, ringtone is always ascending no matter even I choose ringing. Only 1 game is provided that to awful. I initially had 3100 model which has good built in polyphonic tones. But 6030 has a bunch of noisy tones not worth listening even once. The phone has FM radio option, which is fortunately good.
In response to all those questions as to whether your Nokia 6030 supports data connectivity through cable, the saddening answer is NO. The port at the bottom of the phone (it's a 4-pin Mini-USB port) is only for servicing (ie software upgrades, flashing etc). This was the response given to me by Nokia's Customer Care directly.
But what strikes me as funny is that, if you check out Nokia's description of this Phone's features on their website
they say its got a Plug and Play connector. What's the use if you can only "Plug" and not "Play"!!
But I admit, it's a great phone, no-frills, great battery life, network reception and reliability.
