I've bought one but I'm a bit disapointed... When it's opened, it appears a fish in the little screen, do you know how to remove it?
It is also a bit slow when writing messages.
Help me with the "fish" please!!!
i would like to get one myself could someone out der really tell me if i'm wasting my time.
i just bought the 6101 phone yesterday and i can't hear anything unless i used the loudspeaker...time to get a new one already?
I have a 6101 and I love it! I've heard lots of people complain about them freezing and what not but nothing's ever gone wrong with mine! And it's so cute!
This phone is great, good pictures, high quality, phone calls came out GREAT! Good job NOKIA!! i'm in love with this phone, no problems yet!!
Nokia6101 is the wost phone I have ever used in my life. Its so slow, small memory and currently its freezing, starts up, automatically reduces the volume, peform voice dialing.I hate this phone. Anybody knows what the problem is or should I just throw it away ?
This phone is alright, my bros gf has one, she hasnt had much problem with it, the memory is a bit small, but i just edited some songs to make them smaller and BINGO!!! I mean who really has the time to listen to the full version of the song!!!
One problem that i have seen is that the screen is getting like a mark where the centre and directional keys are...
On the whole it is a pretty beaut little phone, only $249 on Optus Prepaid in Aus at Dick Smith or $366 for outright at Dick Smith as well
Hope this helps your purchase of this great phone!
Overall, this phone is ok. The speaker phone feature is especially great. What I hate most is the phone's software; it's kind of slow. The main menu takes 1 sec to load. It's just too slow for me; maybe I just have quick fingers :)
I really am not so happy with my Nokia 6101. I got it the day it came out in September, and since then I've had three of them. The screen either freezes or blanks out/turns white on occasion, to the point where I have to take out the battery to make it right. It has very little memory, BUT I must say that the camera gives HIGH quality pictures, I took pictures at the Hoover Dam with my phone and then printed them at Walgreens, and they look like postcards, and I am not exaggerating. Overall though, I would not buy it again, and I can not wait until I can get a new phone!
Everyone complains about the memory, about how many pictures can you take?
the nokia 6101 is a crap phone!!! i had it and the pictures wer alright but not even good...the phone kept freezing...and the worst thing is the MEMORY!!!geez thay expect us to take photos n videos n java gamez...but wif wat memory....swapt to a sumsaung n i think its better than nokia..but i think dat the motorola has everyfin i want...:P cyas ..n trust me i had it!!
well i got this phone about 4 months ago ..it broke 2 months ago therfor i had to get a new one....today my phone broke again and it has to be taken back to the shop i am not too pleased but i still love nokia
this phone is a phone for people woh are not looking for phone with a lot of memory.because it does't hold a lot of memory.also the camera does not take out clear pictures.other than that the phone isn;t such a bad phone.
Great little phone. Only PROBLEM is the keypad scratching the screen up. I suggest getting screen protectors otherwise it will be ruined in days. A friend has had problems with the speaker.
i think its a great phone cuzz it looks good and its very rezistent although its got a clap.very easy 2 use and nice big screen
i work in a moblie phone shop and recently got a hold of this 4 myself. im impressed thus far as i thought it was poor at first as competitors seemed to have higher specs. screen is very clear and recommend to anyone who want an easy to use mid spec phone. falls due to the lack of bluetooth.
i want to no were to get the softwere the memory anit that goog but the rest is alright
I buy the phone in Venezuela and PTT fuction can not see... Do You kwon have to activated? or I need download other software?. For use MP3 need the Nokia PCSuite for convert other MP3 compression in MP3 compression supported by Nokia.
I am trying to put some mp3 file through infrared in my new nokia but somehow it always shows "No supported file system". I suppose this might be due to different bits system for diff MP3 files.
Can someone advice me on what is the right MP3 bit type.
In addition...can someone advice on how to download files from the telephone to the PC?
