I just got the phone yesterday, I love it! However, when I was scrolling through the setting, my screen just froze, the bottoms stop responding and the light turns off. So did my phone break or is this a security lock or whatever... please help

i want to buy this phone in a couple of days. i'm changing my 6230 for it...is it worth it? i really don't need all the big memory 6230 has so i don't think the small one this has should be a problem but i'm kinda used to bluetooth...and i have a question. does this phone have wap?!

When ur busy with something in the menu, of typing sms, etc. then closing and opening the phone doesn't change anything It will stay where you left it.

To silence an incoming call, press one of the volume buttons on the left side.

hey there .. i have been having this problem .. i cant seem to decide betweern the 6101 and the 6230i ..
i know the later has everything one could want in a phone .. and the former has its flaws ... but it looks amazing ..

i only have a few questions .. first .. is it true that while your in the menu somewhere and you flip the phone closed .. when you flip it back .. are you where you left or are you back in the main menu ??

second ... while your getting a call .. is there anyway to make the phone silent ??? even if it means that we have to open the flip ??? pleSe .. anyone who has the phone ... please let me know .. i really want to buy this phone ...
          thanks ..

Can anyone who has had the phone for a few weeks give us an update on the hinge mechanism? Is it still tight or has it become loose & wobble? Let us know.

Hi everyone, i just got my 6101 last sunday, i like the design sooooo much!!!!! but i found 3 problems in my phone, i don't know if those things are normal.

1st: every thing are slow in 6101,from the idle mode go to the main menu, it will delay about a second or more.

2nd: this is the major problem, is about the night mode of this phone, when you taking picture at the dark area (of course not totaly dark) you should activate night mode, is clear and bright before you take the pic during night mode, but after you captured it, there is no night mode effect, just like the pic taken from the normal mode!!! is that normal, or there is something problem about my phone.

3rd: if you open and close the phone several time, the open and close mechanic of the phone will become soft and not hard as when the time you purchase the phone.

anyone encountered the same problem as me? is there something wrong with my phone, or is just normal sickness of 6101, anyone pls reply thankx alot!!!! im very worried =(

I have just purchased this phone - my first Nokia and am very pleased. However can anyone tell me...

When you close the flip cover and open it again, it is in the last place you used it (i.e messages etc). How can I set it to go back to the main screen?

The other question is once I've sent a text message and go back to the main screen, when I go back to messages the previous message I sent is still there - does this no cancel when you back to the main menu?

I'd appreciate if anyone can tell me how to resolve this
                              thanks

thats pretty crappy you cant transfer stuff to the computer. but the doesnt sound right, cause theirs a connecting a cable and you'd think that'd let you be able to do it...meh
anyways, im looking into the nokia 6020 now, flip phones seem to have a fair amount of trouble with them :)

                                      Toni,

Yeah, you can't hear the person on the other end. Nope, you can't transfer images from the phone to your computer. Sorry. This phone is just a no-nonsense-phone. You call, they call but you can't hear them. That's the only thing there is to it. And its sooooooo big.

I got this for a birthday present. Kind of silly thing to do I thought ... no MMC slot no mp3 player and no memory either.

Even though I tried selling it now I take my thoughts back ... damn this thing looks sexyyy!!! Whoever I showed this fone went "wooaaahhh coooool" ... Im in Pakistan and this set isnt popular here.

Still i may exchange this with a 6670 cus im getting it cheap or else I LOVE IT!

One question though ... in the review u get the shake with one hand close thingy, is it TOTALLY SAFE ? Ive done that a lot of times havent had problems but this thing is jus a month old mind u ...

Also yea please please please post a link for themes ... would be veryyy thankful.

Its an excellent fone if you are looking for an elegant looking mobile ... make that a sexy looking mobile!
