I bought the Hong Kong version of this phone and just realized it doesn't support simplified chinese handwriting input nor pinyin ... :( Can anyone tell me how I can add that to my phone? pleaser reply to darkdessert@yahoo.com thanks!!

With pinyin(roman alphabet input), you can only get simplified characters on a phone made for the China market. Alternatively, you can also enter by using strokes instead of pinyin -> you don't have to learn pinyin to do this but it will still result simplified characters.

can anybody tell me some details about the input of roman(a-b-c)letters ping yin? in taiwan they have the traditional characters, input is with the BePeMeFe-strokes. what about china? there are some strokes on the keys(only saw the pics, but no real phone yet) can i use ping yin input with roman alphabet? does this result in trad.characters or simplified?
i want to input alphabetic ping yin and get traditional characters as output for textmessages. is that possible with a phone from china? thnx for any answer.

No, the phone does not have a camera, but u can add one.
Rodney, the keylock should not unlock when u answer a phone call with the flip or with any key, it shoud stay locked.
The touchpad is a fancy add, it;s fun sometimes..., this is not a smartphone u know :>

i have one. sometimes the keypad does not lock while on standby and auto lock enabled. this usually happens only after answering a call via the flip. is this a software problem? i still have a warranty. what can i do? other than that, the top part of the keypad squeaks. is that normal or shall i get it changed. All in all, i love the phone. keeps me busy.

I purchased this phone to use with POP3 e-mail, but Nokia Service center saying that this model is not suitable for POP3, memory is not enough. Never the less they are not responsible for the claim even though they have mentioned in the manual "POP3 can be possible"
This is some thing going on here in Thailand. They making people fool and earn lot of money.

This phone very good compared to 6610 & 6100, it has more memory (about 3MB) & speech quality very good & design is nice. I'm puzzled why people here have so much negative comments on this phone, don't compared mercedes with a korean car. Be fair to 6108 and it's a good phone.
