well guy i had this phone for over a year and loved it till drop in water..i know very sad, this phone is a very nice navigator phone THIS IS THE ONLY NOKIA PHONE THAT HAS FREE TURN BY TURN NAVIGATOR with the newer phones you do have to pay so this phone is very good for people who want free GPS and a good phone, this phone was nt that bad looking a little big maybe, not to much to buy, RAM is not that bad just a bit like the n95,

To all you guys having problems with the garmin maps for africa and other not so well covered areas. Have you tried google maps?
I'm from Kenya, and I deleted garmin because I couldn't find maps. I installed googlemaps and now I have all the maps I need plus satellite and aerial photographs.

abount space is not a problem, i've got a 4GB micro sd and it does not make the phone slow!

Is there something you did before your phone goes that way? If you have installed a program (application/game, etc..), try removing that suspected program.

Try also Turning off the phone, remove the memory card, and turn on again. Check if you still get the problem even without the memory card.

If still no avail....

Try restoring to Factory settings, BUT backup your data first.

To reset to factory settings, go to Settings-Phone Settings-General-Factory Settings.

I tried searchinh my own address and the phone couldn`t find it. I then found that it seems the language you need to use is very specific but still often experiencethese problems often taking time and effort to find simple things. Could you please explain more specifically how to use google maps as I travel often and always need maps of different countries other than my own which was the main reason I bought the phone in the first place. thanks

Spybot, 01 Sep 2008Please elaborate, I cannot get exactly what you said.Thanks for your reply... when the phone is on standby it automatically goes to the camera and starts clicking away... also when the display message Keypad locked repeats itself until the phone is switched off... i'm not sure whether there is a virus on phone or the buttons are jammed... i'm confused...

All micro sd card over 2gb is HC (H... moreDude u lie! i am owning a 6110nav and i am using a 4GB HC Micro SD and it works 100per cent!! :) :) :) :) :) it does not even make my phone slow or anything my phone reads it with the same speed as not having a SD incerted
