Can anyone tell me if the phone can play full tracks. I can't seem to put the whole song on my phone as a ringtone.
I'm very happy with the phone, its cute!!
i've had this phone just over a month and the slide has completely buggered up making some crappy old scratching noise while im here i'll rant and rave about the crap battery life too grrrrr
I had my 6111 for 1 week, i am waiting since 2 weeks for getting back. I had so much problems, the camera didn't work, the upper piece was not really fix, you could move it about 2mm to the left and to the right!! the display was sometimes full with black squares, the software was driving me mad, the loudspeaker did kill my ears and last but not least, the buttons from the upper piece were making some ugly sounds, like nails on the blackboard. I hope, the nokia "mechanists" would fix all these problems. I have a pink one, maybe thats the problem?
i think this phone is great, its small, easy to use, looks good and runs well. i dont know why people are complaining about the battery, mine is fine, i mean what does it take to charge up your phone surely its not too much trouble. i think the camera is good if you want a brilliant picture go buy a camera!
I dont see why people are complaining about this phone! Its quite an up to date phone. It has everything i wanted! Of course it has low battey life the smaller the phone the smaller the battery therefor obviously it won't last long! I don't think the picture quality is bad either, its pretty good, don't forget its only a phone not a camera!! x
Just a thought. If Nokia claims a 12.5 days battery life on standby and we are all getting 4 or less day on standby (i.e. nobody reaching the 12.5 days quoted by nokia), isn't this false advertisement? Can't we file a class action suit?
thanks, i've taken it back to the shop for my mum and they have replaced the phone as it wasn't working.is now charging(fingers crossed)
Every one can some one tell me how to send international picture msg from dis cell i dont know how to never works for me plz some one tell me and help me plz thank u soo much .... :):)
yes the the battery bar(green)should scrol when charging,on my 6111 the charger socket is fiddly,i mean its tricky with my big hands to get it in properly.hope this is some help.
Like Anna my Mum purchased a nokia 6111 mobile today and in the top left corner, there is the normal battery charging icon. However, in that icon there is a green bar which does not fill the whole of the icon and is not moving like most standard mobiles do when they are charging. I would expect that the small icon would be filled in whole with green once fully charged.
Can anyone help and should the green bar be moving to indicate that the mobile is charging?
FAO AMNA - RE charging look at the top left of the phone and there ia s tiny battery icon that shows its charging
I think people are only saying its a girls phona when discussing the PINK version. It is also avail in silver and black (very stylish)
Hey Listen all you people why is it that this is considererd a chicks phone guys aslo like a professional looking fone "slim and sleek" so a big BOOOOO!! to nokia for reckoning its a chicks phone i really think nokia needs a new marketing manager considering that they WERE the best mobile phones back then and now that they are tryign to get back in the flow with all the competitors they are making big mistakes!
Pros: Looks good, small package.
Cons: Short battery life, average 2 days. Can be extended if you disable the wallpaper, max 4 days. Poor camera phone picture quality. Can't change font size of message to small (i.e. harder to read long SMS).
After 2 months it still works (unlike the other post here wherein their phone dies or breakup in less than a month)
i got mine 2day ,,,tryin to charge the battery but theres no indictaion that its charging..is this normal?PLZZZ REPLY
