The good: Cost, portability, HSDPA, 3G, expandability.
The bad: mediocre camera.
Anyway, I did not get this phone for the camera but for its HSDPA when using it as a modem. :)
It's just HSDPA on different frequencies. Here in Scotland I get HSDPA at about 3Megs a second- it's perfect as a modem. The camera is crap, but that's not why I bought the phone. Try switching to SILENT PROFILE to turn off camera noise.
i have bought dis fon recently, it's perfect! i just hv 1 problem about the camera sound. i dont know how to make it silent. if any1 knows, plz tell me.
If phone is heating up, it should be delivered to service. It´s most likely just a problem with some partly broken component in that spesific phone (perhaps welding problem), not with all phones of this model.
This is my 2nd comment and still this phone is superb in every ways.No probs like many say.Mostly they might don't know how to get full use of this.Do you guys know that you can control your Desktop PC with this phone via Bluetooth? It worked for me and works well.It can control all the WinXP apps.If anybody interested or got anything to clerify on 6120C just email me.
Its same as mentioned in reviews. Very good in bright sun. below Average on cloudy day & worst indoor or at low light.
It is also not able to focus on close objects as no auto focus is available.

I've had this phone for a week now and it being my first s60 phone it seemed a little complicated to use. I upgraded from the nokia 6280 which was 1 of the 1st phones to have the active standby mode. I found the active standby better on the nokia 6280 as it had a seperate option to show the music player+ radio as well as short cut keys at once whereas on this phone you can only hav one or the other. Also when you install applications and themes onto the phone you cant actually find where they were placed other then going to the "app. manager" folder to see whats installed but for some reason some of the themes i've installed dont appear there so i cant delete them. I tried using my i-tech bluetooth earphones with it but the phone cant seem to find it. Anyone else had problems using their bluetooth earphones?
can any 1 tell me that this phone can use as a 3G or 3.5G modem for PC.... need reply fast
This is in reply to 2AdH query. My son bought this model in Qatar and given me on November 20, 2007. I am satisfied with its performance only it does not have the composer I used to have in my previous Nokia models.
As far as the casing, no scratches in spite of having fallen and hitting some hard objects.
I hope in the future models the composer is always included for us to have our own music.
i bought it recently, and it made me feel bad.. it doesnt get my stisfaction specially when i take a picture..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp!
Benji Gonzales, I just updated my 6120 classic, and yes, I did get many many error messages, that required me to reset the phone, reconnect, try different USB ports etc. In the end, a 15 minute procedure ended up taking over 2 hours. Since your phone is stil under warranty, I recommend you get it updated at a Nokia service centre instead and save yourself the headaches... Remember to backup the entire phone using the Nokia PC Suite before updating.
i bought this 6120 last month
my comments are
1. back cover is little loose
2.chances are more for scratch in the back cover
3.side entry of mSD card ensures easy access to memory without removal the battery
4.comaritively high time consumption while switching on power
5.i am not come to a conclusion on battery life
6.some applications showing wait symbol while frequent switching between applications say gallery connectivity etc.
( at that time memory is 244 mb filled of 256 mb )
7. i want ask the resale value of the model
It can handle Sandisk sdhc class4 8GB microSD card, Sandisk included small usb reader for really fast transferring as mass storage device compared to PC suite. I have one by myself and its working perfect. So 4gb is not the limit, and doubt 8gb will. I try bigger cards when I find one.
