Could anyone tell me, can I simply put any video (.mpeg4, .avi) on the card and it will be played? Or you should recode it to lower resolution, like on other phones (e.g. nokia 6300) ?
if u did not care about the camera would any of u buy this or the n73,i mean if u were to choose between these two.
A real classic beats everything great features at very reasonable price only 14000 Pak Rupees i dont why someone has any problem with this may be because someone cant understand simple symbian system please get some education
VeRy Nice Phone. but the comptibility of symbian os s60 3rd edition makes diffucult to search for freebies. however diz fone rocks all functionlity are there. only the battery takes 2days with moderate use. i buy this for 900dhs around 11K php in dubai.

can anyone tell which phone has better music abilities 5700 or 6120?
i need excellent smartphone with solid loud music abilities.
This is a great phone in a compact case. Very fast Symbian, nice (but small) display, good build quality, hi quality external speaker and everyting for as little as 200Euro. I am really satisfied with it.
Have to agree with poster ' sav ' its one great phone...packed with features and i've had no problems with it at all...10/10 for nokia!
I heard that 6120 is even better than 5700 in all respects, be it loud & solid music or even the smartphone capability.
Has anyone found same too.
I dont care whether a phone is for youth or adults (though i am 18),I need a rocking music phone with excellent smartphone abilities.
Please suggest if u know any other phone
So many problems in this phone. Battery charge is difficult, speaker shutdown, sudden hangup etc.not a good verson from Nokia!
ofcourse it has got the latest Symbian OS i.e. Symbiam 9.2 rel 3.1
the same is used by Nokia N95, Nokia N76 and Nokia E65 so far...
i bought this phone around 3 weeks ago and wanted to observe it more before i give my opinions for this handset.
first of all,
good combination of e-series and n-series.
initially i wanted to buy an e-sereis handset but i wanted reasonable multimedia options as well, so this handset was the best available option for me.
about the keypads, they r tricky but once you get use to it, your fingers will precisely click the right key.
there's one thing which is bothering me, that this handset is not actually scratch proof. the back side of the body already have scratches now with a protective kind of use even.
finger prints are no big issue i guess.
emotions in the text msg section are missing.
but overall i think its a wonderful handset with plenty of options for a very low price.
and i recomend if anyone is planning to buy a n70 or n72 or e-50 etc, they should consider this particular handset.

Great phone, but it have some software malfunctions:
- sometimes the speaker suddenly stop to work; no sound are heard when ring or talk to the phone
- in organizer menu periodically appear "one or more alerts missed because of the change of time/date"; no modifications of time/date has made
In Romania stand-by time is about 24-36 hours, decent use. With contrast set to minimum and Bluetooth stoped, stand-by time increase to 48-72 hours, same use. In roaming (M-Tel Bulgaria) with no use, stand-by time was about 5 days, with minimum contrast and no Bluetooth.
