What do you mean by crap China phone? the phone Chinese cloned was based on those big companies' product with innovate technologies. I can name one or two easily, such as dual sim card handset or watch TV on the handset (since 2006, which is far early then the crap BBC iplayer).
so before you made your comment, please try to be professional, as what you do not know doesn't mean it dun exist.
without a doubt this has to be the worsest phone ever made!i dont call it a phone but i think that what nokia calls it.why is this...(THING) one of the popular phones on this site?!
smooth criminal, 09 Jan 2009This is rubbish... Gsm arena i can't believe you guys have started posting chinese clones on t... moreLoL, do you read??? What part of the posting made you feel this is a Chinese clone??? It might be a piece rubbish, who knows but why don't you call Nokia and find out more???
People have been asking "why", Nokia started focusing on Asian market since there's nowhere else has more cell phone users than China after the market crashed. Also a lot of people are already tight up with AT&T contracts with the iphones here.
this is meant for mainly for the chinese Market and the complexity of their handwriting
6208c aka Nokia 6208 for the Chinese Market.
The T9 keyboard has always been favorable for people who use the international alphabet. The same is not true for Chinese who utilize around 3000 characters in their vocabulary. While the rest of the world finds convenience in dividing 26 alphabets among the 9 numeric keys, this is not feasible if you have 3000 characters to choose from.
I highly commend Nokia for adopting its product to meet the demands of the local market.
battery is less than acceptable.
stylus is a joke, they should have used the time and effort to make a decent lens cover instead.
i don't know the purpose of this phone what was nokia thinking why?
its not impressive, I couldnt imagine why nokia have made this kind of design.
I wouldnt say the features are impressive or horrible.
I'd say... modest. Mid-ranged sort of budget phone. Decent to fill in that braket of the market.
STR, 11 Jan 2009looks kinda strange... and the features are not impressiveno, the feature very impressive,
3.2mp can record VGA 15FPS video quality compare to
some 8MP only can record QVGA quality
i hope it will also available in Europe (At a convenient price). It looks nice...a smarter 6300, dual: touchscreen+keypad is also nice. otherwise, prety simple, classic design, it's an "OK". i'll get one if it will be available in Europe..or eventualy get a sim-unlocked one over the internet from china ..
